This position will be responsible for analysing, designing, structuring and managing data sources that support business requirements and align with enterprise standards. This position requires strong technical skills in business analytics particularly with MS Excel, DAX formula language, Power BI Data Modeling and/or related technology. This requires advanced knowledge and skills in developing reports and dashboards using tools including, but not limited to, Power BI and Excel.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, develop, deploy and optimize new and existing data models in line with approved standards and practices.\nGather and understand customer requirements and translate the need into a data model or report.\nManage the maintenance or extraction of data sources needed for data models, reports and analyses, liaising with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and to resolve data quality issues.\nMaintain VFI Power BI data models for VFI Financial Reporting and Analysis, and other departments as may be assigned.\nProvide support for the users of existing data models.\nDevelop, maintain and ensure that proper documentation of data models and data fields are in place.\nDesign and implement data governance to support proper data management.\nCollaborate with the GTD and other departments to ensure timely refresh, maintenance and validation of existing data models, where applicable.\nPerform all other duties that may be assigned.\nAttend and participate in meetings, team events, and conferences as assigned.\nAttend chapel services, daily and group devotions.\nPromote World Vision's values through example and hold self and others accountable across the team.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nMinimum 4 years of experience in positions on data analysis or related areas.\nExperience working in an international non-profit organization or multinational corporation.\nAt least 1 year of experience with business intelligence tools or financial software (e.g. Sunsystems, Datawarehouse, Dashboards) and reporting tools.\nAt least 2 years of experience in Power BI Data modelling and writing complex DAX code for data manipulation.\nBachelor or University degree in Finance, Computer Science or related field.\nExcellent skills in structured problem solving and ability to perform complex analyses and draw meaningful and actionable insights.\nDemonstrate ability to understand multiple data sources and how they relate to each other.\nStrong technical skills in Microsoft Office.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written at all levels with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail: ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.\nSuperior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.\nPreferred:\nExperience in Financial Reporting and understanding finance and accounting is an advantage.\nWork Environment/Travel:\n5% Travel as needed.If employed in GCMO, this position is eligible for hybrid work and its application must comply with GCMO and/or GFSC hybrid policies and procedures.\nApplicant Types Accepted:\nLocal Applicants OnlyWorld Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation with a mission centred on following Jesus Christ in service to the world´s most vulnerable children.
