The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of project expenditures in accordance with grant requirements and financial standards. The position will work under the supervision of the Senior Finance Officer.\nThis is a fixed-term post for five months based in Tacloban City.\nMajor Responsibilities\nFinance Service\nEnsure good financial services for KOICA project include all payments are made on time as per grant requirement and recorded in Finance system.\nEnsure all project’s expenses, including expenses of partners, are in compliance with World Vision’s policies and KOICA grant guidelines.\nFiling\nWorking on the coping all transaction documents and financial documents.\nMaking files for the review of KOICA and WV Korea.\nEnsure filing of vouchers and supporting documents of grant expenses in order to make them readily available for reference and audits.\nSupport Grant Operation\nSupport Senior Grant Finance Officer to ensure financial transactions are valid and authentic, and that support documentations are adequate, complete and compliant with donor requirements.\nPrepare cash request for grant projects to ensure that project has sufficient fund to use within the month and meet target low of national finance department. Send the cash request to NO finance on time.\nSupport to Asset management and Audit\nPrepare asset listing to ensure that all assets purchase are correctly registered with complete required information by KOICA and WV.\nWorks with Operation team lead and Finance & Admin Manager in accomplishing all audit requirements.\nSupport SGFO to Responds to auditor’s queries & issues during audit field work.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.\nAt least one year of relevant work experience.\nExperience working on grant-funded projects is an advantage.\nStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and general accounting practices.\nProficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, Lotus Notes or similar database systems, email, and internet applications.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and in a multicultural environment.\nPhysically and medically fit to undertake work-related travel as required.\nWorld Vision is committed to safeguarding all children as well as adults living where World Vision operates.
