The trainee will work with MEAL staff and support MEAL tasks in assigned program areas as well as support gathering evidence on changes in child well-being. The focus of work will be on gathering and collation of information that can be used as evidence on good practices and impact that WVI Nepal is having in its program areas.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nTechnical Responsibilities\nWork closely with existing MEAL Team and assist with facilitating WVI Nepal supported programs and projects teams to manage the project cycle effectively in line with National Strategy and MEAL strategy\nAssist MEAL Coordinator as well as MEAL Specialist during TPs AIM/AIM+, baseline endline evaluations and other surveys that are required in line with MEAL strategy\nWork closely with MEAL Team of West Field Office in development of data collection methodologies and tools that employ an appropriate mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods, remaining simple, practical, context-appropriate and cost effective.\nWork closely with the MEAL team and assist during project evaluations by writing reports and sharing with the concern stakeholders\nAssist in providing MEAL training to WVI Nepal staff and partner’s staffs in close cooperation with Supervisor and MEAL Team\nSupport maintaining documentation and dissemination of lessons learned from the programming.\nSupport Field MEAL team to organize MEAL related events in respective districts.\nSupport in data management system to increase deliverance efficiency.\nSupport in research and good practices evidence gathering\nWorking with various sector leads to gather and collate information from field office to gather good practice and challenges\nSimilarly work with sectoral leads to gather and collate information on policy and practices from external agencies\nSupport the MEAL team to gather and collate evidence on the changes in child well-being in WVIN’s program areas.\nSupport Field MEAL team to finalize tools and template required for specific research. Gather success and failures evidence from the field.\nSupport in organizing MEAL event likewise Learnings sharing event, review meeting with PNGOs.\nPersonal development and transformation\nTo enhance own management skills and knowledge of development and WVI Nepal ministry\nIncrease own involvement in WVI Nepal ministry\nInitiate for own learning and development\nKeep daily learning records and prepare monthly progress reports\nPrepare action plan based on the team plans together with supervisors and team members and act accordingly.\nKNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE\nRequired Education, training, license, registration and certification\nAt least a bachelor’s degree in project management, social science or in relevant field.\nPreferred Knowledge and Qualifications\nBasic understanding of community-led development work\nBasic understanding of design, monitoring, and evaluation\nBasic understanding on disaster management related matters\nBasic knowledge on design, monitoring and evaluation as well as development facilitation in and with communities is desirable\nGood experience of conducting or supporting research\nCompetent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nFresh graduates are encouraged to apply.\n“World Vision is committed to achieving diversity, as the diversity of our teams is critical to our overall success.
