Description:\n Lead the Global Coordination Unit’s support for Heart of Conservation Initiative partners and ensure successful delivery of all project components\n Supervise Global Coordination Unit staff and manage day-to-day project activities\n Coordinate with ten Component 1 Partners and partners and specialists across other components\n Review and approve annual work plans and budgets and provide technical inputs to partner work\n Lead delivery of Components 2 and 3, including the collective strengthening program and Youth Policy Leaders program\n Support delivery of Components 4 and 5\n Monitor and evaluate project activities and results against project agreements, annual plans, and the results framework\n Manage regular meetings with partners and workflow for the Indigenous Global Steering Committee\n Develop annual work plans and budgets with sub-grantees and partners\n Oversee procurement, expenditure, monitoring plans, workshops, website maintenance, and communications strategy\n Support implementation visits, learning visits, reviews, evaluations, and annual reflection workshops\n Troubleshoot challenges and maintain the project risk register and mitigation measures\n Prepare and execute the project exit plan and ensure sustainability of project results\n Prepare semi-annual project progress reports, workshop reports, quarterly financial reports, co-finance reporting, and the project close report\n Provide quality assurance for project activities, grants, reports, and other deliverables\n Coordinate co-financed projects, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and additional co-financing\n Represent the project at conferences, meetings, and workshops\n Travel internationally for approximately one week on a quarterly basis\nRequirements:\n 10 years of technical working experience, including at least five years of project management experience\n Bachelor’s Degree; post-graduate degree in a relevant field preferred\n At least five years’ experience supporting and working in solidarity with Indigenous people and local community organizations\n Demonstrated track record of culturally sensitive and respectful, community-centered collaboration with Indigenous Peoples and local communities\n Ability to interact with Indigenous peoples and local community representatives, senior government, NGO, business, and donor staff\n Experience with the Convention on Biological Diversity and/or other multilateral agreements and processes, focusing on biodiversity, Indigenous peoples’ and local communities’ rights, and finance\n Experience delivering technical and financial reporting to donor agencies on large projects\n Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder and multi-country projects\n Experience leading a team of staff and coordinating sub-grant partners, ideally across multiple time zones and cultures\n Technical experience and knowledge in Indigenous-led territorial stewardship, community-based sustainable development, or related thematic areas\n Written and spoken fluency in English required\n Advanced proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese highly
