The role is responsible for connecting business systems, automating operational processes and developing intelligent workflows that improve service delivery, reduce manual processing and support continual improvement.\nThe opportunity\nWe are looking for an energetic Automation Engineer who can help us develop our customer facing portal integration with our various service management tools who has exposure to banking, finance and payment organisations.\nDay-to-day responsibilities\nKey Accountabilities\nIntegration Development\nDesign and develop system integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms.\nDevelop REST APIs, web services and event-driven integrations.• Build reusable integration components.\nEnsure secure data exchange between internal and external systems.\nWorkflow & Process Automation\nDevelop workflow automation solutions to reduce manual effort.\nDesign and implement orchestration across multiple business systems.\nOptimise operational processes through automation.\nSupport robotic and low-code automation initiatives where appropriate.\nAI Solution Development\nDevelop AI-enabled operational workflows.\nImplement intelligent document processing.\nIntegrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into automation solutions.\nDevelop AI-assisted operational tools and knowledge management capabilities.\nPlatform Engineering\nDevelop and maintain automation platforms and integration services.\nSupport cloud-native deployment models.\nImplement monitoring, logging and alerting.\nMaintain solution documentation and technical standards.\nCollaboration\nWork closely with Business Analysts, Full Stack Engineers, Testing Lead, Release Manager and operational teams to deliver business outcomes.\nWho are we looking for\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\nSignificant experience in systems integration and automation.\nStrong API development experience.\nExperience with workflow orchestration platforms.\nCloud-native application development.\nExperience developing secure integrations.\nExcellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.\nHighly Desirable\nAI and Large Language Model (LLM) integration.\nServiceNow integration development.\nAzure Integration Services, AWS or equivalent.\nn8n, Power Automate or similar automation platforms.\nPayments or financial services experience.\nDevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.\nQualifications\nEssential\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.\nDesirable\nCloud certifications.\nIntegration platform certifications.\nAI or machine learning certifications.\nAgile certification.\nShape the evolution\nWe are on an exciting journey towards the next frontiers of payments technology, and we look for big thinkers, people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
