That’s why delivering secure, reliable and modern payments technology is so important in helping our customers succeed in the digital economy.\nOur products include in-store, eCommerce and mobile payment products which we deliver to businesses right across Australia - from the smallest micro-businesses to Australia’s largest organisations.\nANZ Worldline was established in 2022 as a joint venture between ANZ and Worldline, with ANZ acquiring Worldline SA’s shares in 2026 to take full ownership.\nThe role\nAs a Data Analyst, you’ll support the business by providing accurate data, insightful reports and clear analysis.\nReporting to the Head of ABI, you will work on a variety of analytical tasks, from writing SQL queries to building dashboards and responding to data requests from stakeholders.\nYour work will form the foundation of our data-driven culture, helping teams across the organisation access and understand the information they need to succeed.\nWhat you’ll do\nData Analysis & Querying\nExtract, clean and analyse data from various sources, using SQL to answer defined business questions\nDeveloping data pipelines and data transformation engines using SQL/Python.\nRespond to ad-hoc requests from stakeholders across the business.\nReporting & Dashboarding\nBuild and maintain operational dashboards and reports using our BI tools\nAssist senior analysts in the development of more complex analytical dashboards\nData Integrity & Team Support\nAssist in the validation and testing of data to ensure its accuracy and integrity before use in reporting\nDocument data sources, metrics, data transformation logic and report logic to ensure clarity and consistency for all users.\nWhat you’ll bring\nTertiary qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative or technical field\n5+ years’ experience in Data Analyst, Business Analyst or similar analytical role\nStrong proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data\nStrong analytics capabilities, including hands-on experience working with large datasets with SQL and Python\nExperience using a data visualisation or BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI (including DAX)\nStrong Communication Skills to explain complex analysis through writing, visuals and presentations\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability t work with different stakeholders\nExperience working with modern data and analytics platforms, including technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azura data services, or equivalent cloud-based analytics environments.\nAs our organisation grows and changes, our culture is evolving.
