Together, we shape the evolution.\nThe opportunity\nWe are looking for a Production Support Engineer with strong experience in PostgreSQL and working knowledge of Oracle to support and maintain critical production systems. The role involves monitoring database environments, troubleshooting incidents, resolving production issues, and working closely with application, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure high system availability and performance.\nDay-to-day responsibilities\nProvide production support and administration for PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.\nMonitor database performance, availability, and health.\nTroubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and production issues within SLA timelines.\nPerform routine database maintenance, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management processes, including RCA preparation.\nCollaborate with application, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve technical issues.\nIdentify and implement performance improvements and preventive measures.\nWho are we looking for\nQualified BE/B-Tech Computers with 4-5 Years experience\nStrong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.\nWorking knowledge of Oracle Database.\nExperience in production support, incident management, and database troubleshooting.\nGood understanding of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.\nFamiliarity with Linux/Unix environments.\nExposure to AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Oracle Cloud.\nBasic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python).Understanding of ITIL processes.\n\nPerks & Benefits\nShape the evolution\nWe are on an exciting journey towards the next frontiers of payments technology, and we look for big thinkers, people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
