Together, we shape the evolution.\nThe opportunity\nWe are seeking a versatile Security Software Architect to help us to build scalable, secure and innovative solutions.\nThe Core Foundation & Integration Tribe (CFI) implements and delivers the Issuing core applications, from Card Issuing lifecycle to Transactions clearing & settlement. With over 150 million cards and 1.16 billion monthly transactions, our platforms operate at the forefront of capacity and performance.\nAs Security Software Architect, you will integrate into a diverse, agile, and collaborative cross-cultural team consisting of fellow Software Architects, Data architects, DevOps Engineer, and Tech Leads. You will play a pivotal role by designing and overseeing the development of complex software systems.\nDay-to-day responsibilities\nOwns the security relationship with the internal & external security bodies, acting as the primary and accountable point of contact for all security-related topics, including security requirements, assets audits and decision support.\nDesigns and implements state-of-the-art security solutions that align with the directives set by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats.\nDevelops and enforces security best practices, including overseeing patch management and obsolescence processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.\nInnovates and streamlines security processes to enhance operational efficiency, introducing new methodologies while refining existing ones for continuous improvement.\nEnsures that security best practices are embedded in the design and implementation phases of software projects.\nManages security risks in the tribe, including analysis and remediation.\nCoaches engineers and Teach leads through pairing, design sessions, and code reviews while promoting strong ownership and avoiding delivery bottlenecks.\nWho are we looking for\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT security, software engineering, or another equivalent field\nDeep knowledge of cloud architecture, including networking, identity and access management, security, observability, scalability, and resilience.\nRelevant certifications are valued, but demonstrated hands-on expertise is more important.\nKnowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 and Dora security frameworks is a strong plus\nA team player who thrives in collaborative environments, fostering teamwork inside the department and across organizational boundaries.\nPassionate about learning new things and staying up to date in modern development frameworks and methodologies.\nExcellent written and spoken English (C1); French appreciated.\nPerks & Benefits\nAt Worldline you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
