Together, we shape the evolution.\nThe opportunity\nJoin our High Availability (HA) Frontoffice Platform team as a Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll work alongside 7 dedicated professionals including DBAs, Cloud Engineers and SREs, working on exciting projects including our major cloud migration.\nDay-to-day responsibilities\nEnsuring the reliable operation of the HA Platform and its 70+ applications running in a microservices-based architecture, across all platform layers including infrastructure, services and applications\nManaging two distinct underlying infrastructures, both leveraging GitLab CI for automated deployments: one based on containerised application components running on redundant RHEL nodes with Docker and Ansible, and one based on a cloud-native stack leveraging OpenShift (Kubernetes), Terraform and Helm\nContributing to architectural design decisions and changes whilst driving automation across the platform to ensure consistency, availability and compliance\nContributing to the cloud migration of the European infrastructure, targeting the Worldline private cloud\nActing as the voice of operations when interacting with business, development teams and infrastructure providers, proposing and leading service, application and infrastructure improvements\nParticipating in remunerated on-call duties (3rd level support) throughout the year, ensuring end-to-end operational continuity of both the database infrastructures and the applications they support\nWho are we looking for\nAt least 5 years’ hands-on experience in an SRE or DevOps role, supporting production systems and contributing to complex technical projects\nStrong knowledge of RHEL/Linux, microservices and containerisation (e.g. Docker), with experience using cloud and container orchestration platforms\nPractical experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Terraform), application deployment with Helm, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI\nExperience managing highly available production environments, including incident response, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation\nExperience with observability tools, and willingness to help maintain and develop our logging service based on OpenSearch and Grafana/Prometheus\nAwareness of security best practices and compliance standards; PCI-DSS knowledge is a plus\nAble to work independently, document work clearly and collaborate effectively with technical teams and external partners, including under pressure\nFluent in English; French and/or German is an asset\nPerks & Benefits\nHybrid working arrangements within Switzerland with flexible working hours\n25 days annual international remote working opportunities\nPublic transport allowance\nMonthly meal allowance\nAdditional benefits including family and leisure activity support\nEmployee share participation programme with financial stake in company growth\nShape the evolution\nWe are on an exciting journey towards the next frontiers of payments technology, and we look for big thinkers, people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
