While using your advanced technical skills to protect Global Payments from threats, you will partner with business leaders to identify risks, evaluate the effectiveness of controls, and promote continuous improvement.\nYou will have responsibility for risk reporting & portfolio analytics across the Credit organization, leveraging internal and external data to make informed credit decisions. The successful candidate will be able to mine this data for relevant patterns and trends and use the data to continuously improve our portfolio monitoring process. A key part of the role is creating robust reporting packages for executive leadership leveraging internal systems, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBi, Excel, and PowerPoint. \n\nWhat you will own:\nEnsure the strategic objectives of risk management program are met including execution of risk assessment activities, coordination of risk response and program testing and validation.\nReview significant events and advises business owners of action steps required to prevent future recurrence.\nLeverage internal as well as external data and AI to develop an industry leading Credit portfolio monitoring program\nDocument risk analysis and controls and evaluates control design and continuous control improvement.\nProvide ad hoc analysis to determine how various events may impact our portfolio, including running stress testing and scenario analysis\nExecute risk assessment activities and coordinating risk response.\nReview significant events and advise business owners, to prevent future recurrence.\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s degree\nEffective communication skills and attention to detail\nExpert level PowerPoint and Excel skills - advanced formula knowledge in Excel is key\nExperience building highly polished, professional PowerPoint presentations in a fast-paced environment working closely with senior executives\nDeep experience in creating impactful management reporting and presentations\nPrevious dashboarding experience in Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar\nExperience deploying AI in a risk management context\nAbility to distill complex data into a tight story with clear, simple takeaways\nStrong data analysis background - particularly in mining large data sets for relevant trends, insights to improve internal models that support decision making\nAbility to navigate complex internal systems\nUnmatched work ethic\nSelf-starter with strong sense and pride of ownership - ability to meet tight deadlines with work products that exceed expectations\nAbility to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectives\nTime management and flexibility\nIt’s Bonus If You Have:\nKnowledge of merchant acquiring services\nFinancial analysis, accounting experience, formal credit training\nAbility to code in SQL and VBA\nAbout the team \nOur inclusive and global teams win together every day.
