There is no roadmap to future success, so we need people who can help us build it.\nWorldQuant is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance internal analytical tools and dashboard applications supporting product, platform, and business workflows. This role combines business analysis, data analytics, and web development, with a focus on creating scalable, user-friendly internal applications.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain internal analytical tools and dashboards for users and stakeholders.\nBuild single-page applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as React and component libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, or similar.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and intuitive workflows.\nUse SQL and/or Polars to support reporting, analysis, and application data needs.\nSupport testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes for reliable delivery.\nImprove existing dashboards and tools for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nPartner with stakeholders to improve workflows, reporting, and operational visibility.\nQualifications:\n2-5+ years of experience in web development, analytics, or related technical roles.\nExperience with web development frameworks such as React, HTML, CSS and the JavaScript language.\nExpertise in constructing and processing complex SQL queries. Working knowledge of relational databases. (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)\nExcellent debugging and problem solving skills.\nClear communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency in at least one general purpose programming language from Python, Java, and C++.\nUnderstanding of database design, index structures and stored procedures.\nExperience with building middleware services (REST/JSON), caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems.\nA solid background in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting.\nExperience in DevOps: thorough knowledge in one webserver (Apache/NGINX/Tomcat), monitoring and load balancing tools.\nExperience with job schedulers (i.e. airflow, cron).\nFinance Experience is not required.\nPay Transparency:\nWorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits.\nTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.
