This is a place where we value trust and high performance, and we'll provide the environment and support needed for you to excel.\nAbout the role\nThis role sits within Zepz’s financial operations team (FinOps), as a Junior Reconciliation Analyst, assisting in the review and coordination of the daily, month and year-end reconciliations process. Responsible for performing reconciliations, investigating items with internal and external parties and identifying opportunities for streamlining/automation. \nAs a member of Zepz’s Product Reconciliation team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long-term decision making.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nExperienced reconciliation analyst accustomed to working with large balance sheet reconciliations using a reconciliation tool. \nSolid Excel skills and understanding of bookkeeping.\nAttention to detail and a methodical approach to completion of your deliverables.\nTeam player with well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.\nAble to work to a deadline, flex with any plan changes and flag any potential conflicting priorities.\nGood analytical and problem solving skills.\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.\nExperience working in an international business, working with foreign currency transactions is advantageous.\nExperience in Blackline / Autorek is advantageous.\nWhat you will own:\nReporting to the Assistant Finance Manager - Cash in Transit, you will: \nExecute daily and monthly Cash in Transit reconciliations in accordance with established schedules, processes, and controls.\nIdentify, investigate, and summarise outstanding reconciling items for resolution in line with standard operating procedures.\nEngage with relevant internal teams, acquirers, and banks to resolve reconciling items and obtain required supporting information and statements.\nRaise and post journals for required adjustments, losses, cost of sales, reallocations, and other reconciliation-related items.\nAttend and actively participate in relevant meetings, providing accurate updates on deliverables and highlighting queries or issues requiring attention.\nIdentify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nSupport internal and external audit activities by providing required information, documentation, and assistance within agreed timelines.\nPerform other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by management.\nBonus points if you have:\nBackground in FinTech, remittance, payments processing, or multi-currency transactions.\nBasic knowledge of dispute, chargeback, and fee reconciliation processes.\nHands-on exposure to automated reconciliation platforms ( BlackLine / Autorek) and ERP systems (NetSuite)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience with LOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, or basic power queries for large data matching)\nPrior exposure to SQL or data extraction tools for handling high-volume transaction datasets.\nFamiliarity with gateway settlement reports (Adyen, Checkout, Stripe, Tabapay, Trustly) or cash-in-transit (CIT) reconciliations.\nAI Literacy & Tools\nAs Zepz continues to build AI into how we work, we expect everyone to engage with it as a core part of their role. For this position we are looking for:\nA genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in your area of work - from accelerating analysis and insight generation, to improving how we design and deliver processes and communications.\nPractical experience using AI tools in a professional context - whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data.
