Join us!\nWhat the Grants Payment Data Analyst does at Worldwide\nThe role of Grants Payments Data Analyst is to assist in building a forecast model for forecasting needs outside of Medidata Payments, as well as own that model and future updates and improvements. The role will also be involved in the process development of forecasting outside of Medidata Payments and how that links with forecasts from Medidata Payments. They will work closely with the Revenue Recognition, Clinical Payments, Investigator Grants Payments, and Project Analyst teams, along with other departments that contribute data to the forecasting and payment of sites, to assist in developing the end-to-end forecasting process of Clinical Site Payments. The Analyst will also be involved in developing a client-ready format of the forecast for the Project Analyst to incorporate into Financial Client Deliverables.\nWhat you will do\nWork with the Central Planning and Clinical Operations teams to gather current site enrollment and patient enrollment data (actual and forecast)\nAssist in creating a model for forecasting needs outside of Medidata Payments and own the model and subsequent updates and improvements\nAssist in linking the forecast model with Medidata Payments forecasts\nWork with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Revenue Recognition team to confirm adherence to requirements for financial audits\nCreate client-ready forecast deliverables as specified per sponsor contracts\nPerform forecast analysis, including plan versus actuals and total budget needs with sponsors\nNotify Project Analysts and Global Project Leads of issues involving over-forecast or under-forecast variances\nEnsure compliance with audit requirements and support year-end and interim audit processes\nSupport the Clinical Operations (CO) process\nStay up to date with local and global revenue regulations\nEnsure accurate reporting to clients in a timely manner in line with client requirements\nPerform final reconciliation on study closeout and provide Project Analysts with final client-ready reports for review\n\nPerform other duties as assigned. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity.
