Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nAs an Applications Technical Specialist I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc\nThe Role\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and other cross functional team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle OBIEE, EBS and secondary reporting technologies.\nDrive the design, build and implementation of solutions to solve business requirements for analysis, solutioning, testing, implementation and production support of a reporting solution for Oracle EBS and other systems.\nImplement new functionality, system capabilities, and solutions to enhance the user experience.\nAct as the liaison between business and technology teams to review reporting requirement, business processes, understand requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, evaluate options and decide direction.\nCoordinate with infrastructure resources, and managed services team to deliver a scalable, well-performing environment for users.\nAct as a project manager/coordinator for small to midsize initiatives - Define project scope and objectives by gathering requirements, develop project plans, timelines and lead the successful execution.\nResponsible to ensure appropriate testing is designed and successfully tested. Responsible for review of results conducted by others to identify completeness and possible problems. Communicating with development team on problems and errors for resolution.\nResponsible for working with internal and managed services functional service in troubleshooting and root cause analysis while fostering learning atmosphere.\nCoordinate work efforts with internal and vendor-based team(s) for application changes, production issues, and system performance issues.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nDegree related to Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or another relevant field\nFluent/Proficient in written and spoken English\n7+ years’ Oracle OBIEE, ODI, EBS 19c/23ai with focus in Projects, GL, and SLA\n5+ years’ experience with OBIEE data modeling, ETL load, SQL query and data extract from EBS\n5+ years’ experience with data integrations/replications and operational reporting\n5+ years’ experience with Oracle Data Integrator and ETL processes.\n5+ years’ experience in global environments with in-depth understanding of Multi-Org, Currency conversions, intercompany, borrowed & lent concepts.\n3+ years’ experience with OBIA (Oracle Business Intelligence Application)/BIApps\n3+ years’ experience with building reporting dashboards using BI Publisher\n3+ years’ experience with managing geographically dispersed team\nOther Qualifications\nKnowledge of OBIA pre-built content and experience with customizing / extending OBIA pre-built content, BIACM.\nStrong understanding of Data Warehouse (DW)\nKnowledgeable in other Oracle EBS modules (AP, AR, FA, Collections, OTL, HR, Procurement) \nKnowledgeable with project-based accounting concepts (e.g. DSO, Work at Risk, Backlog)\nKnowledgeable in multiple of the following reporting tools: Power BI, Noetix, Essbase, Data Warehousing, OBIEE, Oracle Analytical Server, Tableau, Cognos, Hyperion\nAbility to communicate effectively with Operational and Corporate Finance groups \nSkilled detail-oriented problem solver. Ability to identify problems and research root cause\nHands-On experience in writing SQL queries and good understanding of R12 table structures is required\nExperience in month-end processes, ledger reconciliation and summary reporting tools to develop internal and external reports is required\nTechnical savvy with the ability to quickly understand different systems and processes\nAbility to provide clear oral and written communication to a variety of business and technical audiences.\nProven experience in designing and supporting RICEW components.\nFamiliarity and experience with Hyperion suite is an advantage.\nAbility to coordinate and support activities beyond regular working hours\nExperience in project based and/or engineering industry a plus\nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\nStrong people skills\nA self-starter, motivated, forward thinker, and takes ownership\nAbility to think strategically in connecting data flows into big picture business outcomes\nStrong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical mindset required\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
