solutions.\nResponsibilities\nTechnical Competency\nSupports adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.\nSupports the standardization of specifications, drawings, and document templates.\nContributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.\nUses local/global standards to support technical excellence.\nSupports the processes for checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.\nPrepares design specifications for Civil and Structural works.\nPrepare the production of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports and follow required checking procedures.\nEnsures that the documentation for the design remains accurate and current during the development of the design.\nProject Execution\nKnows the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team in meeting expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.\nSupports management of project change and progress for the discipline, and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.\nPlans discipline quality, monitors quality activities, squad checking, drives and participates in squad checking, recommends improvements, and takes action where required.\nProvide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team, and consult with relevant resources as required.\nCoordinate review and approval of design and interfaces on client requirements and specifications.\nConduct studies, analyses and recommend actions.\nIdentifies opportunities to solve problems through applying engineering knowledge.\nProject Deliverables\nGathers data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. \nDetermines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. \nCreates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. \nPerform discipline-specific engineering services such as:Identify and report changes to project scope;\nContribute to appropriate studies, analyses, and recommended actions.\nAssist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.\nAssist in procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.\n\nUpdate existing calculations and drawings for foundations, area drainage, roads, buildings, sumps/pits, etc.\nDesign and support designers to prepare civil drawings and documents for steel structures, such as pipe racks, equipment platforms, sheds, etc. \nWorley, & offshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design for oil and gas facilities.\nExperience in brownfields & asset services type projects/contracts.\nEffective technical and practical engineering skills, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its clients.\nA good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the Civil Structural discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.\nA good working knowledge of applicable local standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nCompetent in the use of relevant software and Civil Structural discipline-specific software.\nExperienced in design specifications for reinforced concrete, buildings, earthworks, roads and underground networks, piling works, etc.\nExperienced in developing calculations for reinforced concrete structures, pipe racks, pipe bridges, equipment & machine foundations, piling works, and drain collection systems, etc.\nFamiliar with Industrial/International Codes and Standards BS, UBC, IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE, etc.\nWorking knowledge of civil/structural software such as STAAD-Pro (Connect edition), Mat 3D, foundation 3D,
