This is an exciting opportunity to play a key technical role on a diverse portfolio of projects across infrastructure, water, renewables, mining and energy sectors, while contributing to the continued growth of our geotechnical capability across Queensland and the wider APAC region.\nWorking within a collaborative and highly skilled team, you will support and deliver projects ranging from major transport infrastructure and water assets through to mining, renewables, offshore wind and energy developments. As part of Worley's global geotechnical community, you will have the opportunity to work on local Queensland projects, as well as high-profile national and international assignments, drawing on the expertise of specialists across Australia and around the world.\nAbout the Role\nAs an Experienced Geotechnical Engineer, you will:\nSupport, lead and deliver geotechnical investigations and assessments across infrastructure, mining, renewables and energy projects.\nPlan, scope and supervise field investigations, including drilling, CPTs, test pits and geotechnical logging.\nUndertake geotechnical analyses and develop practical, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions.\nPrepare and review geotechnical reports, specifications, proposals and engineering recommendations.\nManage geotechnical project deliverables, schedules and budgets.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.\nSupport and mentor graduate and developing engineers.\nUndertake occasional site work and travel within Australia and internationally as required.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nDegree qualifications in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.\nExperience delivering geotechnical investigations, interpretation, engineering assessments and IFC documentation across infrastructure, mining, energy and/or renewables projects.\nChartered Engineer status, or significant progress towards achieving Chartered status (CPEng).\nRPEQ registration, or eligibility and commitment to obtain RPEQ within six months.\nStrong technical capability in geotechnical analysis, interpretation and reporting.\nExperience managing project work scopes and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.\nWell-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExperience using industry-standard geotechnical software packages.\nCurrent Australian driver's licence and Australian working rights.\nCurrent valid passport.\nConstruction Industry White Card (or equivalent).\nWhy You Should Apply\nWork on a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, water, renewables, mining and energy sectors.\nSupport local Queensland projects while gaining exposure to interstate and international opportunities.\nJoin a globally connected team of recognised geotechnical specialists and subject matter experts.\nContribute to projects supporting the energy transition and a more sustainable future.\nBuild your career within a global organisation offering long-term development and progression opportunities.\nOur Employee Value Proposition\nAt Worley, you'll join a global team united by a shared purpose: delivering a more sustainable world.\nWe offer the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that shape the future of energy, resources and infrastructure while supporting your professional growth and development.
