Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nJob Purpose & Scope:\nEnsure HSSE goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.\nSafe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget, ensuring that a quality product is produced that represents ‘best value’ for the Owner and their Stakeholders.\nTo provide HSE management leadership and support at program level for Owner’s Project activities.\nTo provide written HSE program via procedures and plans on Owner’s behalf for EPC / FEED Contractor direction and guidance.\nTo monitor and track overall project HSSEQ performance and communicate trends and achievements.\nPrincipal Accountabilities:\nChampion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.\nAble to lead a team of HSE professionals such as Sr.HSE Engineers, Sr.HSE officers. HSE officers etc.\nSound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements\nBroad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes\nAble to develop and implement annual HSE plans\nCompetency in PTW system and gas testing\nAwareness in H2S and Breathing apparatus\nAbility to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques\nAbility to develop Emergency response procedures/plans\nAbility to speak, read and write English with good communication skills\nEfficient in interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills\nIdentifying, evaluating, and resolving HSE issues during the EPC phase of the works.\nCoordinating comprehensive and effective HSE input and review during EPC phase.\nEnsuring effective design HSE management processes that meet both legal/regulatory requirements and Owner’s standards for Engineering work.\nEnsuring the execution of Project-specific Construction HSE plan/program based on Owner’s expectations.\nEnsuring that all invitations to Tender include the HSE standards for potential Subcontractors as referenced at the relevant general conditions of Contract.\nEnsuring that Project emergency medical evacuation arrangements are in place, Project emergency response plans are complete, and current and emergency response drills are conducted on a regular basis.\nParticipating consistently in ongoing HSSEQ performance and progress reviews\nAddressing Contractor non-compliance with HSSEQ requirements immediately and firmly.\nParticipating actively in onsite HSE inspections, safety committee meetings, Toolbox talk meetings, safety leadership training, incident investigations, QA/QC internal/external Audits and pre-task planning sessions.\nMonitoring the timely implementation of corrective actions identified by HSSEQ assessments.\nActively monitoring the Project to identify any unexpected subtasks or scope changes that involve the potential for performing hazardous waste services.\nEnsuring the tracking and transferring the status of appropriate HSSEQ activities (e.g., obtaining permits incorporating permit conditions into the Project Execution Plan from the design team to the construction team.\nMonitoring changes in the Project scope or design that may affect HSSEQ issues and activities.\nEnsuring identification of HSSEQ requirements including design criteria, process systems engineering, managing the environmental impact assessment (EIA) and/or assisting the Owner with environmental permitting and approvals (as appropriate to the job).\nDevelopment and implementation of Project HSSE plans and procedures.\nDevelopment and implementation of HSSE training program for Construction phase of the works.\nInterface and coordination with Owner’s Operations, Maintenance and HSSE management.\nManage Contractor conformance to Project HSSE requirements.\nLead/participate in Project root cause investigations and communicate lessons learned.\nChair weekly HSSEQ meetings with Contractors.\nAnalysis of Project leading and lagging indicators.\nGenerate and compile HSSE performance statistics to report to Owner.\nDevelopment and implementation of Project behavioral based safety program and Project audit schedule.\nProvide HSSE training as necessary for Owner and Contractor teams.\nTo support Owner development of HSE programs as required.\nQualifications and Experience:\nA bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.\nMust have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.\nADNOC project experience is required.\nOffshore project experience is required.\nPMC experiences is required.\nExperience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.\nCandidate with Occupation / Health background and experience is a Must.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
