Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nJob Purpose:\nThe Junior Instrumentation Engineer will support instrumentation and control engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects covering design, engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases. The role will assist senior engineers in the development and review of instrumentation systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, applicable standards, and ADNOC/client requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport preparation and review of instrument datasheets, instrument index, I/O lists, alarm and trip schedules, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and instrument layouts.\nAssist in the selection and specification of field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level, control valves, analyzers, and associated instrumentation.\nSupport engineering activities related to DCS, ESD, PLC, F&G, SCADA, and other control and safety systems.\nAssist in reviewing P&IDs, control philosophies, cause & effect diagrams, logic diagrams, and functional design specifications.\nSupport preparation of material requisitions, technical specifications, instrument calculations, and engineering deliverables.\nAssist senior engineers in reviewing vendor drawings, technical documents, and contractor submissions.\nCoordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Telecom, HSE, Construction, and other engineering disciplines.\nParticipate in HAZOP, SIL, design reviews, 3D model reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings as required.\nSupport resolution of instrumentation-related technical queries during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.\nParticipate in site inspections, instrument installation checks, loop checking, calibration, functional testing, and system walkdowns.\nSupport pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities for instrumentation and control systems.\nAssist in maintaining engineering documents, technical records, deliverable registers, and action trackers.\nEnsure instrumentation activities comply with applicable IEC/ISA standards, ADNOC/client specifications, project procedures, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.\nParticipate in technical training, mentoring, and competency-development programs as part of the UAE National development program.\nQualification & Experience:\nA bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university\nMinimum of three (3+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum two (2) years in GCC region.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
