We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of consulting and engineering to installation and commissioning, to the last stages of decommissioning and remediation.\nLead Construction Planner (Site)\nProject: Carbon Capture\nLocation: North Wales\nProject Type: EPCM\nReports To: Project Controls Manager\nRole Purpose:\nThe Lead Construction Planner (Site) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the integrated project schedule for a Carbon Capture project, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and interface scopes.\nThe role provides strategic planning and progress visibility to support decision-making, optimize performance, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of project milestones in line with customer and corporate objectives.\nYou’ll do/carry out:\nDevelop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and progress measurement systems covering FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases.\nCoordinate and consolidate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning into a fully integrated master schedule.\nSupport the Project Controls Manager in schedule reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.\nIdentify and communicate schedule risks, opportunities, and recovery actions.\nInterface with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, and Contract teams to ensure planning data reflects current project status and strategy.\nEnsure compliance with project and corporate procedures, systems, and governance.\nProvide schedule updates and progress reporting to senior management and the customer.\nDevelop and maintain earned value management (EVM) processes, tracking physical and cost progress against baselines.\nParticipate in multidisciplinary project reviews and support the development of resource and cost forecasts.\nMentor and support junior planners and ensure consistency of planning methodologies across the project.\nYou’ll have/bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.\nSeveral years’ experience in project planning and controls within EPC/EPCM environments on large-scale petrochemical plants, nuclear plants, oil & gas, or relatable energy projects.\nDemonstrated expertise in Primavera P6 and strong understanding of EVM and WBS structures.\nExperience integrating multi-discipline schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction.\nFamiliarity with project controls systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).\nProven track record supporting projects through FEED to EPC execution phases.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.\nPersonal Attributes\nAnalytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.\nEffective communicator with strong collaboration and coordination skills.\nProactive problem solver who can anticipate challenges and propose timely solutions.\nCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery.\nMoving Forward:\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
