Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nJob Scope\nThe Lead Hook-up Engineer responsibility for providing Hook-up & Installation support, ensuring that all project work is carried out according to client’s fabrication and installation specifications. Coordinate with client to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and fit for purpose. Support to the Project Engineers in understanding the Installation process throughout all phases of the life-cycle of the project.\nEnsure work is performed per plans and specifications via coordination with client to expedite review comments on documents/drawings. Review of design packages early in the course of project to eliminate rework and optimise construction& Installation.\nChair constructability reviews and be the interface with client for all fabrication and Installation related queries.\nResponsibilities\nTo be conversant with and fully comply with the HSSE plan.\nPromote and drive the involvement of Construction& Installation in areas of technical design, Hook-up and installation workpack preparation and planning.\nDevelop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing work load with client Installation support providers / contractors. \nDevelop and maintain responsibility for all Installation and completions activities .\nEffectively work within a multi-discipline collaborative environment to deliver results within expectations.\nPromote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.\nAssess effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view of continuously improving.\nChair and participate in constructability reviews.\nBuild and maintain a professional, constructive relationship with client’s procurement and construction& Installation groups.\nEnsure that constructability is inherent within the design by being involved at the early stage of work scope and workpack compilation / development.\nInvolved in workpack preparation including testing requirements, specialist tools and equipment, also identify specialists / vendors to perform identified tasks.\nEnsure contents of workpacks meet with scope requirements. \nEnsure logic of work is updated on the plan and supporting systems. \nConduct offshore surveys with design team as required.\nAddress fabrication and installation queries and revert with solutions in a timely manner.\nLiaise with project engineers to ensure priorities are maintained. \nLiaise with engineering disciplines to effect solutions to fabrication, construction and implementation queries. \nLiaise with vendors and sub-contractors, as required.\nEnsure any (all) shutdown requirements are clearly identified in workpack and advance notice given to client.\nEnsure fabrication details are clear and complete.\nObtain feedback from fabrication contractor and offshore installation team to continuously improve workpacks.\nEnsure timely IFC construction& Installation comments received from client.\nResponsible for transport and installation plans.\nEnsure commissioning strategy is prepared and included in workpack deliverables.\nQualifications and Experience\nA bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.\nMust have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.\nADNOC project experience is required\nOffshore project experience is required\nPMC experiences are required. \nExperience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.\nGood interpersonal, team engagement and ability to influence skills\nAbility to develop effective working relationships with others\nAbility to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work to achieve them. \nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
