Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nJob Purpose\nThe Lead Pipeline Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all pipeline engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore projects executed under the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model. The role ensures that offshore and subsea pipeline systems are designed, reviewed, and executed in accordance with ADNOC requirements, international engineering standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and schedule commitments throughout Concept, FEED, EPC, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering Leadership\nLead and coordinate pipeline engineering activities for offshore oil & gas developments. \nManage a team of Pipeline Engineers, Senior Engineers, Specialists, and Designers. \nEnsure engineering deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project quality requirements. \nProvide technical leadership and engineering solutions for complex offshore pipeline systems. \nEngineering Design & Review\nReview and approve: Pipeline Design Basis\nPipeline Routing Studies \nHydraulic Analysis \nWall Thickness Calculations \nPipeline Stability Analysis \nExpansion and Flexibility Analysis \nOn-bottom Stability \nFree Span Analysis \nBuckling Assessment \nCrossing Studies \nPipeline Mechanical Design \nMaterial Selection Reports \nStress Analysis \nPipeline Alignment Sheets \nPig Launcher & Receiver Design \nPipeline Datasheets \n\nReview subsea flowlines, risers, shore approaches, tie-ins, and subsea structures. \nEnsure compliance with ADNOC standards and applicable international codes including DNV, API, ISO and ASME. \nPMC Engineering Management\nReview EPC Contractor engineering deliverables and provide timely comments. \nMonitor engineering progress against project schedule. \nCoordinate multidisciplinary interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Instrumentation, Electrical, Marine, Subsea, and HSE disciplines. \nParticipate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Constructability, Value Engineering and Risk Assessment workshops. \nSupport engineering change management and Management of Change (MOC) activities. \nConstruction & Installation Support\nProvide technical support during procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and hook-up activities. \nReview installation procedures including: S-Lay \nJ-Lay \nReel-Lay \nShore Pull \nPipeline Pull-In \nTie-In \nHydrotesting \nDewatering \nDrying \nGauging \nIntelligent Pigging \nPre-commissioning and Commissioning procedures\n\nSupport offshore construction and resolve technical queries. \nProcurement Support\nReview technical specifications. \nPrepare and review Material Requisitions.\nEvaluate Technical Bid Evaluations.\nParticipate in vendor document reviews. \nSupport procurement of line pipes, valves, fittings, coatings, insulation, and subsea equipment. \nHSE & Quality\nPromote ADNOC's HSE culture and ensure engineering activities comply with project HSE requirements. \nEnsure design complies with safety, operability, maintainability, and integrity requirements. \nParticipate in engineering audits, safety reviews, and lessons learned workshops. \nProject Coordination\nCoordinate with Client, EPC Contractors, Vendors, Classification Authorities, and third-party consultants.\nMonitor project risks and recommend mitigation measures.\nSupport project reporting and management reviews.\nMentor junior engineers and develop technical capability within the engineering team.\nMinimum Qualifications\nA bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.\nMust have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.\nADNOC & Offshore project experience is Required.\nOffshore project experience is required.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in ADNOC Offshore projects is required \nExtensive experience in PMC, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC projects. \nProven experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield offshore developments. \nADNOC Offshore PMC experience. \nExperience with major offshore developments involving subsea pipelines, flowlines, risers, and brownfield tie-ins. \nExperience supporting offshore construction,
