This role combines strategic partnership with operational leadership, ensuring our people, leaders and businesses have the support, capability and environment needed to achieve their goals. You'll play a key role in shaping culture, driving organisational effectiveness, building leadership capability and creating an exceptional employee experience.\nLead the end-to-end delivery of People Operations activities across Qatar, ensuring high-quality, compliant and commercially focused HR services that support business performance and project delivery.\nPartner with business leaders to understand workforce priorities, organisational challenges and future capability requirements, developing practical people solutions that support business growth and operational effectiveness.\nDrive the execution of Worley's people strategy within Qatar, ensuring alignment between local business needs, regional priorities and enterprise-wide people initiatives.\nAct as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, employee relations, performance management, succession planning and change management.\nLead local people initiatives and projects that enhance employee experience, strengthen organisational capability, improve workforce effectiveness and support sustainable business growth.\nCollaborate with COEs including Talent Acquisition, Reward, Talent Management, Mobility and remuneration and benefits and digital execution to deliver integrated people solutions and ensure successful implementation of enterprise programmes within the business.\nOversee employee relations matters, workplace accountability processes and people risk management activities, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.\nLead workforce planning and talent discussions, ensuring the business has the capability, succession pipelines and talent strategies required to meet current and future operational demands.\nChampion employee engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, culture and retention initiatives that strengthen Worley's Employee Value Proposition and support a high-performing workplace.\nOversee local compliance requirements, including employment legislation, visas, immigration, professional registrations, business licensing obligations and associated governance requirements.\nUse workforce insights, people data and business trends to identify risks and opportunities, influencing decision-making and supporting the achievement of business objectives.\nPartner with Shared Services and COEs to continuously improve processes, service delivery and employee experience while ensuring effective governance and operational efficiency.\nLead and support organisational change initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, readiness and adoption.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring that Worley's values are embedded in everyday leadership and people practices.\nWhat you'll bring\nWe're looking for an experienced People leader who combines strong HR operational expertise, strategic business partnering capability and a demonstrated ability to deliver people outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable balancing hands-on operational delivery with longer-term workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and people initiatives that support business growth.\nYou will bring:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related discipline.\nMinimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience partnering with senior business leaders and leading broad HR generalist activities across multiple people disciplines.\nDemonstrated experience leading People Operations within a complex, project-based, engineering, professional services or industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge and practical application of workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, organisational development and change management.\nProven ability to translate business strategy into practical people plans that improve organisational capability, workforce effectiveness and business performance.\nExperience partnering with senior leaders to address organisational challenges, manage workforce risks and support business transformation initiatives.\nSound understanding of Qatar employment legislation, labour practices, immigration requirements and associated regulatory frameworks. Knowledge of wider GCC employment practices is desirable.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility, influence decisions and effectively partner across a matrix organisation.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, organisational change activities and business-critical people initiatives.\nExperience collaborating with Centres of Expertise and Shared Services teams to successfully deliver integrated people solutions and enterprise-wide programmes.\nStrong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret workforce data, identify trends, assess risks and make evidence-based recommendations.\nExcellent coaching, consulting, facilitation, influencing and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.\nExperience managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and changing environment.\nCommitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture aligned to Worley's values and employee value proposition.\nPreferred\nChartered CIPD qualification or equivalent professional HR accreditation.\nExperience supporting large-scale projects, engineering, energy, chemicals or resources sector businesses.\nExperience leading organisation design, restructuring, workforce transformation or culture change programmes.\n\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
