Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nJoin Worley’s Monrovia or Long Beach office as a Mechanical Engineer Level II within the Mechanical Engineering Group, where you’ll provide technical and leadership excellence across multidisciplinary projects. In this role, you’ll lead project execution and discipline deliverables, ensuring alignment with company and client procedures while driving continuous improvement in work processes. You’ll develop innovative technical solutions to complex engineering challenges, oversee and mentor a team of engineers, and support the successful delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.\nResponsibilities:\nThe candidate will work within a team framework of other disciplines and will understand the broad organizational implications of the work being performed. \nWill be updating schedules and progress reports. \nMay be asked to generate budgets for new work. \nWill be interfacing with Project Management and the Customers regularly. \nWill be required to develop/check specifications, data sheets, technical bids, purchase orders, resolve technical queries from vendors on various equipment, able to coordinate project requirements with other disciplines, project staff and clients. \nWill be required to maintain quality deliverables throughout the procurement of the equipment. \nWill be required to support work share activities with overseas offices on Equipment deliverables. \nWill be required to develop/support hour estimation, TIC estimates, deliverable requirements and personnel loading for the Rotating Engineering scope of the project. \nAble to support or fill in for the Mechanical lead as requested. \nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nThorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures.\nTypically, a minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience in Petroleum-Chemical Industry.\n5 years in Mechanical equipment or packaged equipment. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nRefinery specifications experience. \nAdditional experience in the Power industry, Carbon Capture, or Arctic environment is valued.\n5 years in petrochemical and refining with project design, execution, construction.\nOn-site and/or in-refinery experience.\nOil and Gas experience.\nAdditional Information:\nPosition located in Long Beach or Monrovia, CA, Worley office locations.\nMay be required to travel to the vendors facilities.\nSalary Range $103,720-$152,529 commensurate with experience and level of position.\nBenefits: Eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.\nLos Angeles\nWe will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.”\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.\nPreferred:\nKnowledge of API, ANSI, NEMA, ASTM specifications. \nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
