Spanning major underground mine expansions and processing infrastructure projects, this portfolio will help unlock future copper supply while offering the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team that values belonging, innovation, and shared success.\nWhat you'll do\nDeliver mechanical engineering services in accordance with Worley procedures, customer requirements, and applicable standards.\nPrepare mechanical equipment specifications, datasheets, calculations, and design documentation.\nDevelop engineering deliverables for studies, FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases.\nSupport equipment selection and procurement activities.\nDesign and specify mining, minerals processing and material handling equipment.\nSupport materials handling systems, mineral processing facilities, and associated infrastructure.\nDevelop equipment layouts and mechanical design documentation.\nReview vendor documentation and provide technical evaluations.\nSupport package engineering activities and equipment installation requirements.\nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues throughout project execution.\nCoordinate with process, piping, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.\nSupport project planning, estimating, scheduling, and progress reporting.\nContribute to risk assessments and change management processes.\nProvide support during construction, commissioning, and operational readiness phases.\nAbout You\nBachelor of Mechanical Engineering.\nEligible for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) pathway.\nRPEQ, RPEV or equivalent registration desirable.\n5+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering.\nExperience within Mining, Minerals & Metals projects.\nExposure to FEED, detailed design or EPCM project delivery.\nExperience in one or more of:Mineral processing plants\nHydrometallurgical facilities\nPyrometallurgical facilities\nComminution and screening circuits\nBulk Materials handling systems including mobile equipment\nUnderground, surface and IPCC mining\nShaft hoisting and ventilation systems\nNon-Process Mining infrastructure, workshops, fuel facilities etc.\nWater, wastewater and slurry infrastructure, pumping piping and pipelines\nPackage engineering and major equipment procurement\n\nMechanical equipment design and specification.\nEquipment datasheets and requisition preparation.\nVendor package management.\nMaterials handling equipment.\nPumps, tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and process equipment.\nFamiliarity with Australian and international engineering standards.\nBenefits to you\nFlexible / hybrid working\nPaid parental leave\nPurchased leave scheme\nSalary packaging including novated leases, personal electronic devices and EV car subscription\nSalary continuance insurance\nProfessional membership reimbursement\nEmployee discounts including health insurance, gyms, hotels & car hire\nRewards & Incentives through Worley's Appreciate rewards program\nLearning & career opportunities\nAbout us\nWorley is a global company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.
