Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nThe Role\nAs a Mechanical Engineer Level II (HVAC), you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nEngineering and designing of HVAC systems for petrochemical, chemical, power plants, Onshore-Substations & Control room, Industries, IT Server Rooms.\nShould be well versed with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, SMACNA, National Building Code (NBC), ISO, NFPA, SOLAS, DW, DNV and other relevant standards and able to design suitable and cost effective HVAC system.\nReview of ITB documents and prepare TQ’s & issue to Client for scope clarification.\nDevelop HVAC systems design from concept stage after understanding functional, operational and project specific requirements.\nInter-discipline co-ordination with Architect, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping & Process for understanding project basic requirements at each engineering stage and provide inputs to disciplines.\nDevelop basis of design, Technical specification and cost estimate document for HVAC system.\nPerform Heat load calculations, selection and designing of equipment, HVAC piping design, ducting design, Pipe and Duct routing, electrical power and control wiring design, HVAC space management.\nVentilation calculations for various industrial applications.\nDevelop BOQ, Material requisitions, tender specifications & drawings for the HVAC system and issuing the same for vendor offer.\nTechnical evaluation of vendor offers and giving technical recommendations\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nChecking and coordination of drawings and documents submitted by vendors and getting the same in line with the requirements of the project. Checking interface with other services in the plant.\nSite visits for coordinating site installation activities, trouble shooting and ensuring timely deliveries and drawing preparation by Vendors.\nInnovative thoughts and solutions combined with ability to demonstrate and convince stakeholders on proposed solutions.\nEngineer Shall be able to guide guide draftsman for the preparation of HVAC drawings and shop drawings (D&IDs, AFDs, GAs etc) and Review of 3D model.\nPrepare SOW for HVAC contractor and coordinate with HVAC vendors.\nKnowledge of quality aspects as per ISO 9001 is necessary.\nEffective verbal and written communication is necessary. Candidate shall have ability to interface with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and Clients.\nWillingness to travel in India and abroad.\nHandle one or more Projects independently.\nTimely delivery of projects with right quality, within budget and schedule.\nCoordinate within team and other departments and projects to minimize quality errors claims.\nContinuously improve methods and lessons learnt to optimize client value.\nAbility to quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) regarding HVAC issues.\nCompliance with Worley Values. \nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\n6 to 10 years.\nB.E.
