This role is responsible for developing detailed plans to optimize construction sequencing, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with contractual obligations. The Workface Planner III integrates advanced work packaging (AWP) principles to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and drive sustainable outcomes, contributing to Worley’s ambition to be a global leader in sustainability solutions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelops and maintains comprehensive workface planning strategies, ensuring alignment with Worley’s sustainability objectives and project execution frameworks.\n\nCreates detailed work packages that enhance project efficiency, integrating engineering, procurement, and construction elements.\n\nCollaborates with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure a seamless transition of deliverables from design to execution.\n\nEnsures workface planning aligns with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and corporate policies.\n\nAnalyzes project data to identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and enhance overall construction performance.\n\nProvides expert guidance on construction sequencing, resource allocation, and scheduling to optimize productivity.\n\nEngages with stakeholders to communicate planning methodologies, progress updates, and any necessary adjustments to execution plans.\n\nLeverages data-centric solutions to improve project visibility and decision-making, supporting Worley’s digital transformation initiatives.\n\nSupports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices in workface planning and AWP processes.\n\nProvides mentorship and technical guidance to junior planners and team members to strengthen overall planning capabilities.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET\nA university degree in a related field, or an equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience.\n\nAdvanced knowledge and specialized expertise in construction planning, with mastery in one or multiple broad areas of AWP methodologies, product systems, and industry standards.\n\nDemonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions and provide recommendations for project planning, taking financial, social, and environmental impacts into account.\n\nStrong proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and workface planning systems.\n\nProven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders, including engineers, construction teams, and leadership.\n\nExperience in providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.\n\nAbility to work with minimal supervision, receiving broad assignments and managing tasks with a high level of autonomy.\n\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in construction execution.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and challenges.\n\n.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
