Come work where it matters.\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrated experience using AVEVA E3D to develop and review 3D piping models, equipment layouts, piping routings, clash detection activities, and multidisciplinary design deliverables in complex industrial or nuclear environments.\nPerform piping engineering design and analysis activities in accordance with applicable codes, standards, regulatory requirements, project procedures, and customer specifications.\nPrepare and contribute to piping engineering deliverables, including calculations, technical specifications, piping material specifications, line lists, data sheets, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation.\nCollaborate in the preparation and review of piping and instrumentation diagrams and support the development and maintenance of piping line lists.\nAssist with the selection and specification of piping materials, components, specialty items, and valves based on system requirements and service conditions.\nPerform piping flexibility and stress analyses using recognized engineering tools such as AutoPIPE or CAESAR II, with guidance and technical review from senior engineers as required.\nEvaluate piping loads, equipment nozzle loads, thermal expansion, support requirements, and other design considerations affecting piping system integrity.\nDesign and evaluate pipe supports and contribute to the preparation of standard and specialized pipe-support drawings for fabrication and installation.\nApply applicable pressure-piping codes and standards, including relevant ASME and CSA requirements, to piping design and engineering activities.\nSupport the preparation of technical specifications and scopes of work for piping fabrication, testing, inspection, painting, insulation, and heat tracing.\nProvide engineering support for the procurement of piping materials, components, specialty items, and valves, including technical bid evaluations, vendor-document reviews, and resolution of technical questions.\nReview vendor and contractor documentation to confirm alignment with project specifications, engineering requirements, and applicable codes and standards.\nSupport pressure-piping registration activities with applicable regulatory authorities where required.\nParticipate in design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments, technical discussions, and interdisciplinary model reviews.\nWork closely with process, mechanical, structural, civil, instrumentation, electrical, procurement, construction, and project-management teams to support coordinated project delivery.\nProvide technical support during fabrication, inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, and field implementation.\nAssist with resolving technical issues and field queries by gathering relevant information, evaluating options, and developing practical, compliant solutions.\nCommunicate technical information clearly through engineering documentation, design discussions, presentations, and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.\nTake ownership of assigned deliverables by managing priorities, following through on commitments, and raising technical, quality, or schedule concerns when appropriate.\nContribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment by seeking input, sharing knowledge, and supporting collective project outcomes.\nDemonstrate a consistent commitment to nuclear safety, quality assurance, procedural compliance, and continuous improvement.\nWhat you will bring:\nTechnical and Industry Experience:\nDemonstrated experience using AVEVA E3D to develop and review 3D piping models, equipment layouts, piping routings, and multidisciplinary design deliverables in complex industrial or nuclear environments.\nRelevant piping engineering experience gained within nuclear power, another highly regulated industry, or complex industrial and infrastructure projects.\nExperience contributing to the design, analysis, modification, or implementation of pressure-piping systems.\nWorking knowledge of pressure-piping design principles, piping materials, components, valves, supports, fabrication, testing, inspection, and installation practices.\nThe ability to interpret and apply applicable pressure-piping codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Experience with ASME B31.1, ASME Section III, CSA N285, CSA N299, and related nuclear industry requirements is particularly valuable.\nExperience preparing or contributing to piping engineering deliverables such as calculations, specifications, material specifications, line lists, drawings, and technical reports.\nFamiliarity with piping stress analysis and flexibility analysis. Experience using AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, or similar analysis software is considered an asset.\nFamiliarity with piping design and modelling tools used to support multidisciplinary engineering delivery.\nAn understanding of piping loads, thermal expansion, equipment interfaces, pipe-support requirements, and the factors that affect piping-system integrity.\nExperience supporting the procurement and technical evaluation of piping materials, valves, components, or specialty items is considered an asset.\nKnowledge of piping fabrication, inspection, testing, installation, and field implementation practices.\nAn understanding of nuclear safety principles, quality assurance requirements, configuration control, and the importance of producing complete, accurate, and traceable engineering documentation.\nThe ability to analyze technical information, identify underlying issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical engineering solutions.\nSound engineering judgment, with the confidence to ask questions, constructively challenge assumptions, and seek guidance when requirements or risks are unclear.\nStrong attention to detail and a consistent approach to checking work, maintaining accurate documentation, and meeting technical and quality requirements.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to different audiences.\nA collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, customers, suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.\nAdaptability when working with changing priorities, evolving project requirements, and technical challenges.\nPersonal accountability for commitments, deliverable quality, schedule, and follow-through.\nA genuine interest in contributing to the safe and reliable operation of nuclear facilities and supporting the future of the nuclear energy industry.\nMotivation to continue developing your technical capabilities, learn from experienced professionals, and take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.\nDemonstrated achievements that show your ability to deliver quality piping engineering work.
