Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nWe are currently seeking Principal Electrical Designer to join our team in Monrovia CA, your core responsibility will be to provide detailed electrical design drawings and support the project team from a technical perspective.\nResponsibilities:\nWork scheduling and project planning.\nPreparation of engineering drawings and documentation.\nRespond to technical queries.\nInterpretation and interfacing of third-party design documents into project design.\nTraining and supervision of junior staff members.\nCheck drawings and documentation are fit for the purpose they are intended and for conformity with the project execution plan.\nChecking of materials purchased and equipment for conformity with specifications.\nLiaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nExperienced with AutoCAD 18 or newer version and Navisworks.\nExperience should include familiarity with AutoCAD blocks, XREF, and 3D modelling.\nFamiliar with ANSI dimensioning standard.\nFamiliar or Experienced with CADWOX Plant and P&ID would be a plus.\nAttention to Detail and capable of self-checking modification to redlines.\nSelf-starter.\nWillingness to grow in the position.\n7 plus years’ experience in electrical design\nExperience with SPEL, AutoCAD and MicroStation design software packages, AVEVA 2D/3D is a plus.\nExperience with the SP3D, PDMS, PDS EERWAY 3D CAD system, participate in 3D model reviews. \nTraining in 2D and 3D CAD software.\nFunctional MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)\nFunctional understanding of Electrical Estimating System to generate MTOs and BOMs.\nSolid understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) and industry standards.\nFunctional skills in the use of SmartPlant review and other 3D modelling software.\nFunctional skills in the use of LFM or other laser scan tools.\nFunctional skills in the use of Microstation (Hexagon) 2D, AutoCAD or other 2D design.\nOil and Gas experience.\nAdditional Information:\nThis role is in Monrovia or Long Beach CA Worley office location and not eligible to support remotely.\nMay be required to travel to the vendors facilities.\nHourly Range $57.69-$84.84 commensurate with experience and level of position.\nBenefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.\nLos Angeles\nWe will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.” #LI-AC1\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nAssociate Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering / Design / Drafting or related field.\nPreferred:\nStrong understanding and working knowledge of the NEC.\nBachelor’s Degree.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
