As a part of the team, your core responsibility will be to provide detailed Instrumentation Controls Systems engineering design and support the project team from a technical perspective.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will provide instrumentation and controls system engineering services on medium, large, or mega projects to Worley' and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the instrumentation and controls engineering team.\nEnsure all engineering and design work performed meets quality, cost, and schedule requirements.\nEnsure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner.\nEnsure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.\nPerform designing/engineering work/deliverables as part of the Instrumentation & Controls team.\nAbility to interpret client specifications.\nCoordinate/Communicate with other disciplines and the client.\nQuality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Assurance system.\nIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.\nIf required, assist and support junior personnel within the instrumentation & controls engineering team.\nKeep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in instrumentation & controls engineering.\nIf required, function as instrumentation & controls engineering Lead on specific projects.\nIf required, provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nWorking knowledge of Instrumentation & Control deliverables such as:Panel (JB and Marshalling) Design.\nP&ID's.\nLoop Drawings.\nWiring Drawings.\nMotor Control Schematics.\nInstrument Location Drawings.\nInstrument Installation Details.\nInstrument Specifications (Datasheets).\nI/O Lists.\nBill of Materials.\nConduit/Cable Tray/Cable Schedules.\nControl Narratives and Strategies, algorithms.\nDevelop and implement control logic (in PLCs, DCS, other software).\nHardware and software integration for process control automation.\nCause and Effect Diagrams / SIF List and consequences.\nMaterial Requisitions.\n\nConstruction or Engineering Work Packages. Working knowledge of Instrumentation Calculation/Selection, such as: Flow (Orifice Plates, Vortex, Venturi, Magnetic, Ultrasonic meters).\nLevel Measurement (Radar, Displacers, Gauges).\nTemperature (including Thermowells Freq. wake calculation).\nPressure.\nProcess Analyzers and sampling systems would be a plus.\nCompetent use of instrument calculation/selection specific software.\n\nWorking knowledge (design/configuration/implementation) of the following systems:PLCs, SIS, DCS, CCS, VMS/CMS, Historian, IAMS, Alarm Management System, Training / Operator Straining Simulator, Wireless System, and IOT Network design from reputable vendor / manufacturer.\nHMI, SCADA, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity.\nWorking knowledge of industry standards and codes related to Instrumentation & Control system deliverables.\nBeing able to work with multiple and concurrently small and medium projects.\nWorking knowledge of Computer-Aided Design software.\nWorking knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software, Flowmeter calculation/ sizing, and control valve sizing calculation.\nWorking knowledge (design/implementation) of Communication Networks is a plus.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\n\nSmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software training (including wiring module) is a plus.\nARAMCO Experience: Well versed and experienced with ARAMCO SAES standards.\nKnowledgeable in Refinery, Gas Compression and Gas processing facilities.\nAdditional Information:\nThis role is based in the Monrovia CA Worley office locations and not eligible to support remotely.\nMay be required to travel to the vendors facilities.\nSalary Range $160,079-$235,411.\nBenefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.\nLos Angeles: We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.” #LI-AC1.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nAccredited Engineering Degree in General Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering or related equivalent degree combined experience Typically, twelve years’ experience.\nPreferred:\n12+ years of direct Instrumentation & Controls System design and engineering experience.\nRegistered PE in Control Systems is preferred or ability to obtain license.\nFunctional Safey Engineer (FSE) certification.\nOil and Gas industry experience.\nWater treatment, power generation, data centers.\nSaudi Aramco experience.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
