Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nJob Purpose\nWe are seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to support offshore oil & gas projects, responsible for leading process engineering activities across all project phases. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in line with project requirements and industry standards.\nThe Role\nAs a Principal Process Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nFlow Assurance (OLGA)\nLead and execute process engineering deliverables for offshore projects (concept, FEED, detailed engineering).\nDevelop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process calculations.\nPerform and supervise process simulations, heat & material balance calculations, and optimization studies.\nPrepare and review process design basis, philosophies, and specifications.\nConduct or support HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety studies.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams (piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical).\nProvide technical guidance to junior engineers and review their deliverables.\nEnsure compliance with client specifications, international codes/standards (API, ASME, ISO), and company procedures.\nParticipate in client meetings, technical discussions, and design reviews.\nSupport proposal engineering and estimation activities when required.\nIdentify risks, propose mitigation measures, and ensure timely project delivery.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred).\nMinimum 18+ years of experience in process engineering, with strong exposure to offshore oil & gas projects.\nProven experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases.\nStrong knowledge of process design, equipment sizing, and offshore systems.\nExperience in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim).\nGood understanding of process safety and risk assessment methodologies.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Skills\nPrior experience working on international offshore projects.\nExposure to brownfield modifications and debottlenecking studies.\nFamiliarity with digital engineering tools and workflows.\nAbility to mentor teams and drive engineering quality.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nLeadership and team collaboration\nEffective communication and client-facing skills\nQuality and safety mindset\nTime management and ability to work under pressure\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
