The successful candidate will support the delivery of process engineering services across a diverse portfolio of energy, chemicals, resources, and industrial projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Process Engineer will contribute to engineering studies, design activities, technical analyses, and project execution across various stages of the project lifecycle. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, technical development, and exposure to a variety of project types and industries. This is a full-time position based in either Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver process engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.\nPerform process engineering activities such as:Assist in identifying and reporting changes to project scope.\nSupport the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.\nAssist with procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.\nContribute to technical studies, process analyses, troubleshooting, and optimization initiatives.\nPrepare engineering calculations, reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and other technical documentation.\n\nSupport feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detailed engineering, and brownfield modification projects.\nDevelop and review process engineering deliverables with guidance from senior team members when required.\nEnsure work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, customer requirements, and Worley procedures.\nCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.\nParticipate in design reviews, hazard reviews, and project meetings.\nContinue developing technical knowledge and process engineering capability through project experience and ongoing learning.\nMaintain awareness of industry developments, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.\nIdentify issues and problems, develop solutions, and seek guidance when required.\nContribute to a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications - What you will bring\nTechnical and Industry Experience\nRelevant process engineering experience within the energy, chemicals, resources, industrial, or related sectors.\nGood technical and practical engineering skills with the ability to deliver quality and accurate work.\nUnderstanding of process engineering fundamentals and engineering design principles.\nExperience supporting the development of process engineering deliverables such as calculations, process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, reports, and technical documentation.\nWorking knowledge of applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.\nFamiliarity with process engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar applications.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project teams is considered an asset.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work within project schedules.\nWillingness to learn, develop technical expertise, and take on increasing responsibility.\nEducation, Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Required:\nBachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligibility for registration with APEGA or another Canadian engineering association.\nExperience within consulting, engineering services, EPCM, or owner-operator environments.\nExposure to upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, refining, LNG, CCUS, hydrogen, renewable fuels, mining, or industrial processing facilities.\nFor applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $74,639 to $140,784.\nApplication of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.\nMoving forward together\nWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
