Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.\nSummary:\nThe Project Engineering Manager (PEM) will lead the design for a multi-billion copper mine. The PEM will provide the leadership required and support the project delivery team to drive the engineering objectives of the project. This is a pivotal role in the engineering delivery of MMM projects.\nWe seek a self-motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills, adept at solving complex Engineering challenges.\nThis is a full-time position based at our Mesa, Arizona office.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage multi-discipline engineering teams across Mining, Minerals, and Metals EPC and EPCM projects.\nAct as the overall Engineering Manager, accountable for technical integrity, safety, quality, schedule, and budget.\nPlan, coordinate, and direct engineering activities across Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, FEED, and Detailed Engineering phases.\nManage engineering execution across multiple offices, GID/workshare locations, and external contractors.\nApply a strong understanding of engineering sequencing and workflow for EPCM project delivery.\nLead engineering scope definition, cost estimates, gated reviews, and change management for EPC/EPCM projects.\nDeliver projects that are safe, sustainable, on time, and within budget, for both lump-sum and cost-reimbursable contracts.\nEstablish, manage, and control the Basis of Design (BoD), Project Execution Plan (PEP), and Engineering SEAL Plan.\nEnsure engineering deliverables comply with codes, standards, Worley systems, and client requirements.\nWork closely with discipline leads to make technical decisions, remove roadblocks, and maintain progress.\nAct as the primary technical interface with the client, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and project objectives.\nPromote and embed Safe and Sustainable Engineering principles throughout design and execution.\nPlan and execute technical peer reviews in accordance with Worley Technical Stewardship and SEAL requirements.\nCoordinate engineering inputs to project schedules, resource plans, and cost control activities.\nMonitor and manage engineering resources to meet quality, schedule, and commitment targets.\nOversee engineering systems, digital tools, data management, and document control implementation.\nSupport procurement, construction, commissioning, and field engineering activities as required.\nDefine and manage Workshare / GID technical scope, ensuring quality and effective multi-office coordination.\nIdentify risks, uncertainties, and technical holds; drive mitigation and closure.\nMentor and develop engineering leads and team members; support technical competency development.\nEnsure compliance with HSE requirements, confidentiality, and intellectual property obligations.\nReview of Detailed Engineering design, documents, drawings, calculation and sealing and stamping for the IFC issuance.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\n10+ years Engineering Management experience.\n5+ years Mining, Minerals & Metals projects experience.\n4+ years of EPC/EPCM Mining project experience.\nMining regulatory/MSHA certification and experience.\nAdditional Skills:\nAn excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clients.\nA strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical and operational challenges and,\nDemonstrated leadership in managing critical projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and value optimization. \nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Engineering degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Electrical or Structural Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPreferred:\nAdvanced degree/qualification in Engineering would be considered an asset.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
