Manager with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nTechnical Expertise and Thought Leadership:\nTo plan, co-ordinate and manage the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of medium/large projects by directing a project manager or team of project managers/area managers depending upon scope and competency.\nTo ensure clear agreement of client objectives and that these are met or exceeded.\nTo achieve or better the budgeted gross margin.\nSpecific Accountability:\nDirect the Integration of a Medium/Large Project.\nDirect the implementation of all functions of project management.\nDirect the internal company environment to meet the needs of a Medium/large project.\nDirect the project through its development stages.\nClient Relationships:\nIdentify, document, and communicate the client requirements.\nEffective management of multiple stakeholders.\nMaintain and build healthy client relationships throughout the project and post completion.\nProactively resolve performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues with the Client as they arise, in conjunction with the Project Manager(s).\nCommercial Management:\nEffective management of Worley/Client contract, including delivery of the budget gross margin.\nScope Management:\nEffective handover from Business Development Group.\nClear definition of scope.\nCompliance with requirements of the contract.\nEffective change control process application.\nManage and monitor project performance on an ongoing basis to identify issues and opportunities early and take pre-emptive action.\nEffectively manages project interfaces, in conjunction with the Project Manager(s), including the use of High Value Engineering centres.\nTime Management:\nDirect the planning of all scope elements of the project, with the support of the Project Manager(s).\nDevelop resource & financial requirements from the project plan.\nDirect the management of the design, procurement, and construction activities to meet the project schedule.\nOwnership of the project schedule.\nRoutine monitoring of the key reports and development of corrective action plans.\nTimely and effective documentation turnover and project close-out.\nCost Control:\nDirect the planning and preparation of accurate project estimates.\nEstablish cost report for control of projects.\nMonitoring and control of all cost aspects of the project to forecast costs, obtain approvals, identify trends, and take action to avoid cost overruns and take advantage of opportunities\nAssess performance of cost control system & personnel.\nTeam Collaboration and Supervision:\nProvide clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision.\nDefine roles and responsibilities, in particular the respective roles of the Project Director vis a vis the Project Manager(s).\nFocus team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.\nListen to the team, discuss the issues, resolve problems, and direct activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives.\nParticipate in staff performance evaluations.\nIdentify and implement training requirements.\nProject Execution and Quality Assurance:\nDefine the project quality requirements.\nEnsure the right systems are in place and that these are applied on the project.\nDevelopment of a project schedule which allows work to be executed in a logical sequence.\nCompliance with Worley policies and procedures.\nImplement lessons learned system.\nDocumentation and Communication:\nEffective communications with the project team.\nDocumented communication requirements.\nAccurate, timely & effective progress reporting to the Client and internally to Worley management.\nOngoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes where required.\nSpecifications and Bid Activities:\nEnsure that clear objectives set for the design team.\nAssess the design activities and ensure a 'fit for purpose' design of the plant.\nMonitor design activities, interdisciplinary data flow and communications.\nConstructability, Operability, and Maintainability:\nEnsure that clear objectives set for the procurement and subcontracts team.\nAssess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.\nSet clear objectives for the Construction team.\nMonitor the Construction Management function to ensure safe delivery of the project within cost and schedule objectives.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nQualifications / Skill Set:\nRelevant degree or equivalent qualification (Chartered Engineer preferable).\nProven track record of working as a in the capacity of senior project manager for medium/large scale project (TIC 25 Min US$ and above).\nProfessional Experience:\nMinimum of 15 years + industry experience.\nAbility to direct a project, with the direct supervision and coordination provided by the Project Manager(s).\nDemonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment.\nExcellent leadership and communication skills.\nHigh level of customer focus.\nPrevious experience as a Senior project manager / project manager on medium/large projects more than US$25m total value.\nLeadership and Project Management:\nPossesses leadership experience, having worked in project leadership roles, emphasizing the ability to drive successful project outcomes.\nSkilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content, contributing to Worley's goals to be a leader in sustainability solutions.\nHealth, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Commitment:\nWork with project manager(s) to ensure that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participants.\nCompliance with HSE procedures.\nMaintain HSE focus for project duration.\nResults-Oriented and Accountability:\nAchieves results set by self and others, meeting timelines, and pushing for stretch goals, reflecting Worley's commitment to delivering value over the life of assets.\nDemonstrates accountability for work produced, ensuring it is
