You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery by balancing safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives. Your expertise will help drive engineering excellence, support operational readiness, and create long-term value for our clients.\nResponsibilities\nLead Project Delivery\nManage, coordinate and supervise assigned projects, ensuring delivery in line with approved scope, budget, schedule and quality objectives.\nOversee engineering, procurement and construction management activities delivered by contractors and project stakeholders.\nSupport Oil & Gas production activities, including start-up, commissioning and initial operations assistance, as required by the client.\nLead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for FEED studies, cost estimate development, ITB preparation, tender package development and project execution.\nServe as the primary technical interface with the client, ensuring alignment with project objectives and expectations.\nEnsure all project activities comply with the approved Basis of Design, contractual requirements, applicable regulations and industry codes.\nDrive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Performance\nChampion a strong HSE culture across the project team.\nEnsure HSE requirements are fully integrated into engineering, design and procurement activities.\nBuild Strong Client Relationships\nDevelop and maintain effective, long-term relationships with clients.\nProactively manage and resolve scope, schedule and performance issues.\nClearly identify, communicate and deliver client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\nManage Commercial and Contractual Performance\nManage assigned project budgets within Worley's scope of work.\nEnsure compliance with project management plans, contractual obligations and company procedures.\nApply effective change management and change control processes.\nSupport claims prevention, mitigation and management where required.\nDeliver Schedule and Cost Objectives\nContribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules.\nMonitor project progress and ensure activities are executed in accordance with approved plans.\nTrack project costs, forecast outcomes, identify trends and implement corrective actions to prevent cost overruns.\nPromote Value Improving Practices (VIPs) to maximise project efficiency and capital effectiveness.\nEnsure Quality and Technical Excellence\nSupport compliance with Worley policies, procedures and quality standards.\nMaintain a strong working knowledge of Worley engineering, procurement and project delivery systems.\nEstablish clear objectives for engineering teams, including productivity, budget and quality targets.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards and engineering codes.\nEffectively manage interfaces between disciplines and stakeholders.\nSupport People and Performance\nFoster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on delivering project milestones and objectives.\nCoach, mentor and support team members in achieving their full potential.\nResolve issues, remove barriers and drive accountability across the project team.\nManage Communication and Risk\nProvide accurate, timely and effective reporting to project leadership and clients.\nMaintain clear communication with project teams, contractors and third parties.\nDeliver professional presentations and communicate complex information effectively.\nMonitor project risks and opportunities and drive actions to achieve timely closure.\nOversee Procurement and Contractor Performanc e\nMonitor procurement activities to ensure materials and equipment meet specifications, are delivered on schedule and remain within budget.\nSupport effective subcontract and vendor management throughout project execution.\nAbout You\nYou are a proactive and results-driven leader with the ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams.\nWho You Are\nYou are an experienced engineering leader with a track record of successfully delivering projects within the Oil & Gas, refining or petrochemical industries. You bring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and leadership capability, combined with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.\nMandatory Requirements\nLead multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.\nBalance safety, quality, cost and schedule priorities.\nCommunicate effectively across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups.\nManage multiple priorities and deliver results under demanding timelines.\nCoach and mentor teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.\nMaintain strong governance, procedural compliance and auditability throughout project delivery.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.\nMinimum 15 years of total experience post graduate studies.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.\nExperience working in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment.\nDemonstrated experience delivering projects within the Middle East is preferred; Kuwait experience will be an advantage. \nPrior project involvement covering Onshore Effluent Water Treatment and Injection Facilities will be an advantage.\nStrong technical, practical and leadership experience within the relevant discipline.\nProven experience leading discipline engineering and design teams.\nStrong understanding of project procedures, governance requirements and audit trail management.\nProficiency in standard business software applications; experience with engineering software will be an advantage.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across multicultural environments.\nStrong planning, organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.\nWillingness and ability to engage directly with clients and represent Worley professionally.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor others.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
