Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nWe are currently seeking Project Manager II in Billings Montana to join our team to manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering and procurement activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner. The right candidate will act as primary interface with client to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied and ensure the project conforms to the client's approved basis of design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure effective management of Worley/Client contract, including change management and adherence to contractual requirements.\nEnsure effective development of task order proposals with discipline leads or support handovers from Business Development Group, as applicable.\nEnsure a clear definition of scope and compliance with requirements of the contract.\nApply an effective change control process.\nManage and monitor project performance on an ongoing basis to identify issues and opportunities early and take pre-emptive action.\nEffectively manage project interfaces, including workshare use of Worley’s global/ Consulting resources, if needed.\nManage the design, procurement, and construction activities to meet the project schedule.\nMonitor schedule milestone attainment. Develop and implement corrective action plans.\nEnsure timely and effective documentation turnover and project close-out.\nEnsure that all project plans and estimates are prepared accurately and in timely.\nAssist in monitoring and control all cost aspects of the project to forecast costs, obtain approvals, identify trends, and take action to avoid cost overruns and take advantage of opportunities.\nAssess performance of cost control system & personnel.\nEnsure the right systems are in place and that these are applied on the project.\nEnsure compliance with Worley’s policies and procedures.\nProvide clear and focused leadership for the project.\nProvide mentoring of personnel as required and participate in staff performance evaluations.\nIdentify and implement training requirements.\nEnsure effective communication with the project team.\nEnsure accurate, timely & effective progress reporting to the Client and internally to Worley management.\nEnsure ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes are required.\nIdentify and monitor closure of all project risks and opportunities.\nMaintain a risk avoidance and risk mitigation focus throughout the project duration.\nEnsure design team is aware of, and is complying with, client's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes and the project schedule.\nMonitor design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications.\nAssess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification and are delivered on time and are within budget.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nRelevant work experience heading Refining, Petrochemical, or U/M Project Management work.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline teams doing FEED and detailed engineering and procurement phases of projects. Experience in providing project management services to petrochemical/oil/gas companies.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple small and portfolio projects simultaneously, from proposal stage through Detail engineering execution and closeout.\nEngineering discipline experience on Refining, Petrochemical, or U/M work will be an asset for this position.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBS degree in engineering or technical diploma and equivalent experience.\nPreferred:\n12 plus years in petrochemical and refining with project design, execution, construction.\nOil and Gas experience.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
