Assist with input to the development and maintenance of the system standard build, application security, documentation, reporting, systems integrations, and participate in new release testing and rollout.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Applications Technical Specialist with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….\n\nProject implementation\nParticipate in project discussions, investigate and understand project requirements, and take the lead with the development and adherence to the Project Information Management Plan. Revise the plan as needed when changes occur that affect the use ofMaterials Management related activities.\n\nDeliver presentations to the project team as required.\nDevelop training schedules and deliver required training.\nMaintain a strong working relationship and rapport with projects to ensure objectives are being met and solutions applied are effective.\n\nProject and User Support\nProvide system support to projects and users at 2nd and 3rd tier levels using Service Now.\nProactively seek out ways to help projects and users maximize efficiency using Materials Management System\nMonitor the use of System to ensure compliance with global standards and that each function’s activities support the next, and ultimately support the required and effective use of Materials Management system at all project locations (including site offices).\nSupport integration development / bug resolution\nPerform system health checks throughout the project lifecycle and close out projects with lessons learned. \nWork with system vendor to ensure continuous optimum availability of the system\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nDocumentation\nDevelop and maintain User Guides.\nDevelop and maintain Reports Guides.\nSupport development of Functional Specification\n\nStandard Build and Customizations\nMaintain application security roles and enforce and monitor separation of duties on role assignment to users.\nDevelop and maintain the global project configuration to ensure standard usage. Review project system health checks and lessons learned and adjust standard configuration as appropriate to make improvements or resolve issues.\nSupport maintenance of in-house developed suite of reports by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and managing development and UAT of report changes\nMaintain and support system integrations with internal and external systems.\nLiaise with software vendor for issue reporting and resolution\n\nNew Release Testing and Implementation\nTest all modules/functions used in the global standard configuration.\nEnsure projects will not be negatively impacted by the upgrade.\nReport issues to vendor for resolution as needed - expedite solutions.\nPlan and support production rollout.\nCommunicate changes to the users.\nMonitor success post rollout - manage issues.\n\nSystems Knowledge and Continuous Improvement\nMaintain in-depth knowledge of Materials Management System in all modules and associated work processes.\nMaintain a high level of understanding of functional work processes and procedures, overall EPC business, and project execution\nInvestigate ways to improve productivity, efficiency, or information availability and visibility for projects through reports / dashboards\n\nCollaboration with the business\nRegular meetings with the Locations Functional representatives for Materials Management Systems in the specific region\nCoordinate in-house education, promotion and awareness programs for project staff and business unit managersInput to proposals and presentations with respect to our integrated execution capabilities at Worley.\n\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nJob Specific skills\n5+ years’ experience with Materials Management systems usage, support, administration, and configuration preferably AVEVA ERM\nComprehensive understanding of Materials Management principles.\nStrong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables and workflows.\nAbility to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.\nIndustry Specific Experience:\n10+ years of Materials Management experience; preferably in MTO, Engineering requisitions, Supply Chain and Site Materials Management for EPC projects.\n\nEducation\nA recognised degree or equivalent qualification/experience.\n\nIT Skills:\nProficient in MS Office applications.\nGeneral knowledge of systems (operting systems, software installation, and configurations).\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and efficient.\nAbility to apply intelligence and knowledge to problem solving and meet deadlines.\nBe able to coordinate work with other offices.\nBe a team player and able to work effectively in a virtual team.\nBe service oriented.\nBe proactive - not reactive \nOther Qualifications:\nJob Specific skills\n5+ years’ experience with Materials Management systems usage, support, administration, and configuration preferably AVEVA ERM\nComprehensive understanding of Materials Management principles.\nStrong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables and workflows.\nAbility to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.\nIndustry Specific Experience:\n10+ years of Materials Management experience; preferably in MTO, Engineering requisitions, Supply Chain and Site Materials Management for EPC projects.\n\nEducation\nA recognised degree or equivalent qualification/experience.\n\nIT Skills:\nProficient in MS Office applications.\nGeneral knowledge of systems (operting systems, software installation, and configurations).\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
