This is a full-time position.\nAs a senior procurement professional, you will manage the procurement of complex engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment in support of major projects and corporate initiatives. You will apply advanced technical expertise, commercial judgment, and market knowledge to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate procurement risk. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to project teams and stakeholders, providing guidance on procurement best practices and contributing to successful project delivery.\nResponsibilities\nManage the end-to-end procurement of complex engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment for major capital projects.\nDevelop and execute procurement strategies that optimize commercial outcomes while balancing cost, quality, schedule, and risk.\nLead commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract award recommendations.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, engineering teams, project management, and other key stakeholders.\nIdentify procurement risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve commercial and supply chain issues.\nProvide procurement expertise throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.\nAnalyze market conditions, supplier capabilities, and industry trends to support informed sourcing decisions.\nMentor junior procurement professionals and provide technical guidance on complex procurement activities when required.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement processes, supplier performance, and project outcomes.\nTechnical and Industry Experience\nTypically 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably supporting engineering, energy, industrial, or major capital projects.\nDemonstrated experience procuring complex engineered equipment and materials.\nStrong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation and contract management skills.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced project environment.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nAdvanced understanding of procurement systems, processes, and industry best practices.\nExperience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other procurement professionals is considered an asset.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training\nUniversity degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
