Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Civil Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nInitiate and oversee specific design tasks performed by engineers relating to onshore structural engineering analysis and associated substructures.\nSupervision of structural engineers.\nTechnical competence of structural personnel.\nForecast requirement for structural engineering resources and allocate those resources.\nStructural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.\nIdentify structural software necessary to enable structural group to function effectively.\nInterdisciplinary communication development.\nStructural group communication development.\nManage structural discipline man hour estimates to perform project tasks.\nCheck compliance with Alliance QA/safety/environment goals.\nManage structural engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule.\nPromote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.\nPromote career development within the group.\nTechnical supervision of project designated structural designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duties.\nReview weekly structural progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.\nBenchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas of improvements.\nResponsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.\nResponsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nBE /B.Tech Civil Engineering or ME /M.Tech Structural Engineering is required.\nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is preferred.\n14+ years’ minimum experience, involved in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design.\n10 years min exp into Oil and Gas Industry experience.\nRequire experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.\nThe role mandates previous experience in design of onshore plant facilities involving structural steel and concrete structures.\nA comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of design of pipe rack, technological structures, platforms, equipment supports, pipe supports, equipment platforms, civil facilities (roads, paving, drain networks) is essential.\nFocus on Modularization. Familiarity with international codes and standards are essential.
