You will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and work collaboratively across disciplines to support project success while meeting safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nDeliver civil engineering services that meet Worley's, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.\nSupervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate staff.\nAdvise Lead Engineer, Project Management and other disciplines of the environmental law requirements applicable to the project.\nManage Civil resource hours and schedule.\nCustomer liaison.\nProactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its customer's requirements.\nKeep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in civil engineering.\nSite earthwork planning and land development.\nSite grading and drainage design.\nHaul road and crossing design.\nAccess roads and facilities infrastructure design.\nPrepare Stormwater management plans including Pollution prevention plan, design of retention and detention ponds, lift stations, controlled discharge, and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.\nUnderground utilities design (culverts, piping, subdrains).\nPrepare Civil MTOs, project cost estimates, tender documentation process, tender evaluation.\nPrepare/review Civil specifications, calculations, and reports.\nIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\n8+ years of relevant discipline experience.\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\nA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nStrong understanding of civil earthworks design, drainage design, including environmental and geotechnical requirements, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nFluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.\nCompetent use of civil engineering specific software such as Civil 3D and OpenRoads.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\nSubstantial technical and practical experience in civil engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.\nAdditional Information:\nThis role is in Monrovia or Long Beach CA Worley office location and not eligible to support remotely.\nMay be required to travel to the vendors facilities.\nSalary Range $119,646- $175, 940 commensurate with experience and level of position.\nBenefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\n4- or 5-year Batchelor degree in Civil Engineering.\nPreferred:\nProfessional Engineer (PE) in the United States or ability to obtain immediately upon hire.\nSan Francisco\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. #LI-AC1\nLos Angeles\nWe will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.” #LI-AC1\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
