Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Electrical Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nReview Technical Queries during proposal stage and provide resolutions.\nParticipate in selected Supplier activities (e.g. pre-award, kick-off, and/or pre-inspection meetings, Hold points, etc.).\nSupport in developing inspection assignments and ensure source inspection is conducted by qualified individuals in accordance with WSP’s / IITP’s and Suppliers’ approved ITP’s. Maintain Inspection Log.\nPlan and perform inspection / verification activities at Supplier location to meet contractual obligation and follow-up action as per requirement.\nAdhere to department / group work instruction and Quality manual.\nReview of E & I Quality Control Procedures, Test Certificates (TCs) and Quality Control / Inspection reports from Suppliers.\nWitness Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / leak test / performance test / mechanical run test, as applicable.\nEnsure the timely completion of all inspection activities as per Purchase Order, project specifications, designs, drawings and requisitions for areas of responsibility assigned to him.\nIssue Inspection Report / Shop Expediting Report / Inspection Release Certificate as per project procedure.\nReview and distribute source inspection reports, and ensure deficiencies are tracked, resolved and reported to Project Teams, SQS Lead, and other stakeholders as applicable.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nDiploma in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Tradesperson who has completed the Electrical Design, Drafting & Estimates course.\nElectrical License (highly regarded).\nAt least 15 years Electrical and Instrumentation design and drafting experience in the MMM/MH Industry or similar industry.\nExperience in Brownfield electrical systems and knowledge of control system interfaces.\nA good understanding of Australian electrical standards and other International standards.\nHighly effective technical and practical Electrical and Instrumentation design and drafting skills.\nProven skillset in utilizing the following software and tools:Microstation SE and or AutoCAD 18 and above\nMicrosoft Office and Excel\n3D Modelling softwares (E3D and/or S3D)\nNavisworks\n\nEffectively interface with other disciplines to ensure fit for purpose design.\nProven experience in creating electrical deliverables such as:Single line diagrams - HV and LV\nSchematics for panels such as incomers, feeders, VSDs and motor starters.\nCable schedules\nMaterial take offs\nElectrical Equipment / Switchroom layouts\nLighting calculation (Dialux) & Lighting Layout\nPower and Cable Routing layouts\nEarthing & Lightning Protection layoutsPrimary and secondary schematics and Termination diagrams.\nPanel general arrangements\n3D Modelling of Electrical Equipment, Cable Trays / Trenches / Raceways, Lighting\n\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to project team members.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
