Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Field Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nResponsible to lead the team of Quality engineers at project site for management and control of quality of construction activities.\nReview the Quality Management Plan developed for the project and update, as required. Implement the Quality Management Plan during construction phase of the project.\nAssign/distribute works/work areas to the Quality engineers and ensure that the engineers.\nUnderstand the requirements of construction quality specified in the contract agreement of the contractors.\nCollaborate with the discipline engineers in review of the contractor’s quality plans, inspection test plans, job procedures, NDE procedures, Inspection checklists etc. and accord approval.\nReview and establish PQR & WPS. Witness welder qualification test.\nCollaborate with the team of discipline engineers, as required, to perform inspections and tests as per the approved quality plans.\nPerform inspection of NDT testing and PWHT etc. as per approved quality plans. Perform review and interpretation of all NDT test reports including Radiography films.\nIssue mechanical clearance and NDE clearance\nCarry out inspection and issue punch lists, as applicable, for various systems.Other Attributes\n\nPerform inspection/witness hydro tests, pneumatic tests, and flushing.\nMaintain the Quality documents of the project, in collaboration with the Document Controller (if applicable), including calibration reports, test results, qualification records, inspection requests & reports, non-conformance reports, and request for information etc.\nCoordination and tracking of RFIs and their status.\nGuide the material management team for preservation and proper storage of materials.\nEnsure timely and effective resolution for Quality issues, in coordination with Home Office.\nDevelop schedule of technical audits of the contractors and perform technical audits in collaboration with the discipline engineers.\nCoordinate with Corporate Quality Assurance team for the Quality Assurance audits at site.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nJob Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of quality control of construction activities related to structural works, piping, and equipment (static as well as rotary). Well conversant with the requirements of various applicable standards (Indian Standards, ASME etc.). Knowledge of statutory requirements, general contract requirements and interpretation of contract clauses.\nIndustry Specific Experience: Graduate Engineers with minimum 15 years of experience with minimum 3 years of experience of working as Lead Engineer/Area Manager/Superintendent in Oil & Gas Sector and Chemicals.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering. ASNT NDT Level II certification. \nHSE Capability: Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities for the respective discipline . \nIT Skills: Proficient in MS Office. \nPeople Skills: Team Player, interpersonal skills . \nOther: Adaptable, open towards learning and development, person of integrity and possess good communication skills\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
