Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose of the role\nYou will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of project logistics strategies and coordinating the movement, distribution, and delivery of materials and equipment. You will analyze logistics requirements, develop practical plans, and monitor transportation and delivery activities to support project schedules, cost objectives, and customer expectations.\nWorking with the Manager of Logistics, project teams, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders, you will help identify potential logistics issues early and develop solutions that keep work moving. You will also help ensure logistics activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements, project procedures, and Worley and client expectations.\nCore Responsibilities\nYou will be responsible for:\nSupporting the development and implementation of project logistics strategies in partnership with the Manager of Logistics and project leadership.\nCoordinating logistics activities for the movement of materials, equipment, and other project resources from suppliers and vendors to their required destination.\nDeveloping logistics plans that consider project requirements, delivery schedules, transportation methods, storage, handling, distribution, and site requirements.\nAnalyzing logistics requirements and identifying opportunities to improve workflow, delivery performance, inventory management, and overall project efficiency.\nMonitoring shipments, delivery schedules, and tracking records to ensure materials and equipment arrive as planned and in accordance with project requirements.\nReviewing logistics procedures and recommending improvements that maximize service, minimize cost, and support efficient project execution.\nCoordinating with procurement, expediting, materials management, project controls, construction, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.\nIdentifying potential delays, constraints, or transportation challenges and developing practical solutions to minimize their impact on project schedules and costs.\nEnsuring logistics activities comply with applicable transportation, customs, import/export, safety, environmental, and other regulatory requirements.\nMaintaining accurate logistics documentation, records, tracking information, and reporting to support project visibility and decision-making.\nPreparing logistics reports, presentations, proposals, and other communications for project teams, management, and clients.\nProviding logistics guidance and technical support to colleagues and project teams, including troubleshooting logistics-related issues.\nLeading or participating in functional project teams and cross-functional initiatives as required.\nAssigning activities and providing job-related guidance to logistics team members when required.\nBuilding effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics activities with project objectives.\nContributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen logistics processes, systems, and tools.\nSupporting a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the project organization.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\nYou will bring a strong combination of logistics expertise, project experience, commercial awareness, and practical problem-solving skills.\nEssential qualifications and experience:\nA university degree, or equivalent, in logistics, supply chain management, business, transportation, operations, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.\nTypically 7+ years of relevant logistics experience, preferably within the energy, chemicals, resources, engineering, construction, or other complex project environments.\nDemonstrated experience developing and implementing logistics strategies for projects involving the movement of materials and equipment.\nStrong understanding of transportation, distribution, delivery coordination, inventory management, and logistics planning principles.\nExperience coordinating logistics activities across multiple stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and project functions.\nWorking knowledge of applicable transportation, customs, import/export, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate logistics data, identify trends or constraints, and use that information to improve delivery performance and project outcomes.\nStrong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing project requirements.\nExperience using logistics, supply chain, tracking, inventory, or enterprise systems and the ability to assist others and troubleshoot system or process issues.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex logistics matters clearly to project teams, management, clients, and other stakeholders.\nExperience preparing reports, presentations, proposals, and other business documentation.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, establish priorities, and make sound decisions within defined objectives.\nExperience leading functional project teams or coordinating the work of others.\nAbility to provide technical guidance and act as a senior resource to less experienced team members.\nStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across functions and organizational levels.\nA practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving logistics challenges while balancing safety, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.\nWhat will set you apart:\nExperience supporting large-scale EPC, construction, energy, chemicals, LNG, or resources projects.\nExperience working in both office and field or construction environments.\nExperience managing complex or time-critical material and equipment movements.\nKnowledge of project logistics planning from procurement through delivery and final destination.\nExperience working with project schedules and understanding how logistics activities affect critical path activities and overall project execution.\nExperience with logistics performance metrics, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbility to influence decisions and align stakeholders when priorities, schedules, or project requirements compete.\nStrong commercial awareness and an understanding of how logistics decisions affect project cost and delivery.\nDemonstrated ability to anticipate issues, take ownership, and drive solutions through to completion.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
