Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nLead and manage engineering team execution on major/large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety, quality, cost, and schedule.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams, coordinating across all engineering disciplines to deliver integrated and technically sound designs.\nProvide technical and leadership support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle-from project definition and proposal development to detailed engineering and commissioning.\nEnsure engineering deliverables meet applicable codes, standards, regulations (including EGBC), and client specifications.\nInterface regularly with project management, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment and seamless project execution.\nFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, mentoring engineers and supporting professional development.\nAct as a primary engineering point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and third parties.\nWhat you will bring:\nTechnical and Industry Experience:\n10-15 years of related experience practicing civil, marine or geotechnical engineering on large scale and/or complex projects.\nProfessional experience in ports and marine terminal infrastructure is required. Cold weather/Arctic experience is considered an asset.\nAbility to present technical information, both written and verbally, in a concise and professional manner.\nA demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nDemonstrated history of effective client engagement, relationships and management.\nExperience in preparing proposals and developing engineering and capital cost estimates.\nDemonstrated capability to conduct and supervise geotechnical engineering through field investigations to design, and train, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff.\nStrong level of commercial acumen, including cash collection, workshare, change management and contract review and management.\nSelf-starter, flexible team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks and to coordinate staff.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus appropriate continuing education in civil/geotechnical engineering, or equivalent.\nRegistered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).\nFor applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $173,292 to $267,638\nApplication of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
