You will be responsible for maintaining and operating site materials control systems, ensuring accurate material forecasting, inventory management, and distribution activities that keep projects progressing safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nLeveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will collaborate across multiple disciplines to ensure materials management processes align with project requirements, engineering deliverables, and construction priorities.\nCore Responsibilities\nYou will be responsible for:\nMaintaining and operating the site materials control system to support construction and installation activities.\nReviewing engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and project documentation to accurately determine material requirements.\nIdentifying, quantifying, and documenting material requirements while considering existing inventory and standard ordering quantities.\nCoordinating the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuing, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.\nMonitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate materials records within project materials management systems.\nTracking material availability, deliveries, shortages, and inventory status to support project schedules.\nCollaborating closely with engineering, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and construction teams to resolve material-related issues.\nEnsuring materials are properly identified, preserved, stored, and protected in accordance with project procedures and quality requirements.\nSupporting the development and continuous improvement of materials control processes and site procedures.\nIdentifying discrepancies between engineering documentation and material requirements while working with project teams to resolve issues promptly.\nPreparing reports, material status updates, and inventory analyses to support project management and decision-making.\nAssisting with material audits, reconciliations, and surplus material management activities.\nProviding technical guidance and mentoring to junior material controllers and other project personnel.\nLeading assigned project activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.\nPromoting compliance with Worley policies, procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations throughout all materials management activities.\nQualifications - Internal\nWhat You'll Bring to the Role\nYou are a highly organized materials management professional with a strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project execution and construction support.
