This is an opportunity to provide technical leadership across studies, sustaining capital works, brownfield modifications and major project developments within the mining and mineral processing sectors.\nYou’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, practical and high-quality piping engineering solutions that meet customer requirements, project objectives and industry standards.\nResponsibilities\nDeliver piping engineering services across studies, FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning support.\nProvide technical leadership for piping design, specifications, calculations, material requisitions, scopes of work and engineering deliverables.\nPerform and review hydraulic calculations, slurry and process piping designs, pipe stress analysis, nozzle load assessments and ASME B31.3 code compliance.\nReview piping layouts, isometrics, support designs and 3D model deliverables across slurry, water and process networks.\nSupport procurement activities including technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews and purchase order development.\nParticipate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability reviews, model reviews and project meetings.\nProvide technical support during construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, suppliers, contractors and high-value engineering centres.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practice.\nEnsure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of all piping engineering deliverables.\nWhat you’ll have\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline recognised in Australia.\nMandatory RPEQ registration; CPEng status will be highly regarded.\nSignificant piping engineering experience within mining, minerals, metals or mineral processing environments.\nStrong project delivery experience across FEED, detailed design, EPCM, construction and commissioning phases.\nTechnical capability across slurry transport, process piping, mine dewatering, pipe stress, nozzle loads, piping supports and ASME B31.3.\nExperience preparing and reviewing piping specifications, datasheets, requisitions, scopes of work, layouts, isometrics and 3D model deliverables.\nExposure to tools such as FluidFlow, AFT Fathom, CAESAR II, NozzlePRO, E3D, Smart3D or Plant3D will be highly regarded.\nStrong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.\nWhy join us?\nWe are a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.
