Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nYou will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.\nResponsibilities:\nDeliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.\nInitiate, manage and if required supervise mechanical engineering project requirements.\nPerform mechanical engineering services such as:Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedure.\nEnsure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.\nProvide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.\n\nWork with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Influence over duties. Receive administrative direction based on organization policies and objectives. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination of other company functions or groups.\nIf needed, act as the mechanical engineering Lead on specific projects.\nIf responsible for a team:Outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress.\nEnsure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.\n\nProactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its customer's requirements.\nKeep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering.\nIf required, assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team.\nCommunicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customers.\nIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nExtensive relevant discipline experience.\nExperience working in project leadership role.\nExperience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\nA sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nCompetent use of mechanical engineering specific software.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\nSubstantial technical land practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\n4 or 5 year Batchelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nPreferred:\nProfessional Engineer (PE) in the United States.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
