Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPurpose:\nPerforms a variety of routine assignments involved in either the coordination of various engineering, construction, purchasing, scheduling and start up aspects of a project, or the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a project across all disciplines (equipment, piping, E&I, civil). This individual typically manages multiple small projects, a single medium project or a portion of a large or mega project within the organization and/or for customers, with daily operational responsibilities.\nThis is an onsite role in Baton Rouge, LA in a plant environment.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and coordinate multi-discipline engineering and construction staff and activities to ensure project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.\nCoordinate project activities to support overall Project Manager and to support and update Project Execution Plan (PEP).\nAct as primary technical coordination interface with client and site to ensure that the client’s expectations are met.\nManage risk register, gate readiness, RFP development, materials, scope of work, etc.\nEnsure the project conforms to regulatory and code requirements.\nRegularly provide accurate, timely and effective reports to management. \nEffectively communicate with the team and third parties.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\n10+ years engineering experience, including Process Design or Project Development. \n5+ years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience; Workshare experience; E, EP project experience.\nProcess design engineering experience with strong initiative and communication skills is a plus. Here may need some sub bullet points for experience on: Hydraulic calculations, Pro II simulation or similar, HTRI or similar, Safety Relief/Pressure Relief, Equipment Sizing, Writing Project Design Scopes.\nProject Delivery experience in refinery and chemical processes.\nSolid understanding of AWP and construction experience.\nSite experience or in-refinery experience is a plus.\nComputer proficiency required; Proficient with engineering software applications; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nBe comfortable using MS Office, Teams, SharePoint & other collaboration tools.\nDemonstrated leadership skills & managed small to medium sized projects, be capable of technical stewardship on projects.\nExperience with change management, budgets, schedules, progress reporting, managing work scopes.\nDemonstrated skills at customer / stakeholder interactions is a must.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBS in Chemical Engineering.\nPreferred:\nProfessional registration in local jurisdiction; Certified Project Management Professional by a globally recognized project management organization (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM).\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
