We know that diverse and inclusive cultures are safer and more innovative.\nWe encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds and diversity characteristics and warmly encourage disabled or neurodivergent candidates to apply.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & Management\nLead and manage the Process Engineering discipline team.\nProvide technical direction and leadership to EPC Contractors\nCoordinate closely with the iPMT Process Engineering organization and other project disciplines.\nCoordinate with Operations, technical departments, Contractors, and Licensors to resolve technical issues. \nProcess Design and Technical Assurance\nReview and coordinate process engineering deliverables prepared by EPC Contractors and Licensors.\nEnsure designs are optimized and comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.\nMonitor process engineering execution against the Engineering Execution Strategy and approved procedures.\nResolve process-related technical issues that may affect project execution.\nReview and approve key process engineering deliverables, including:Process Design Basis\nProcess Flow Diagrams (PFDs)\nHeat & Material Balances\nUtility Balances \nPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\nOperating Philosophies\nCause & Effect Diagrams\nProcess Control Narratives\nFlare Design Basis\nRelief and Depressurization Studies - Hydraulic Calculations\n\nEnsure process deliverables are developed and issued in line with project schedules and technical requirements. \nStakeholder and Interface Management\nServe as the primary iPMT focal point for Process Engineering matters among the Owner, EPC Contractors, Licensors, and third-party certification agencies.\nManage technical interfaces and support resolution of multidisciplinary engineering issues. · Ensure proper process integration across all facilities and battery limits, including:PDH Unit\nPolypropylene Unit\nUtilities Systems\nOffsites\nTank Farm Facilities\nFlare Systems\nFeedstock Systems\nProduct Export Systems\nInterconnecting Facilities\n\nManage integration of utility consumption and generation requirements, including steam, condensate, cooling water, nitrogen, instrument air, electrical systems, fuel gas, and flare systems.\nSupport development of a systemization philosophy aligned with precommissioning and commissioning objectives.\nEnsure interfaces between Licensors and the EPC Contractor are clearly defined, coordinated, and properly managed. \nLead multidisciplinary reviews to maintain process consistency across engineering disciplines.\nVerify that interfaces with existing NATPET facilities, external utilities, and third-party infrastructure are fully addressed.\nProcess Safety & Risk Management\nLead implementation of process safety management principles through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and operations readiness.\nEnsure compliance with applicable process safety standards and industry best practices.\nLead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of process-related risks.\nEnsure consequence modelling, relief studies, flare studies, dispersion analyses, fire protection studies, and safety assessments are completed and incorporated into the design.\nMaintain the Process Safety Risk Register and align it with the Project Master Risk Register. \nProvide technical recommendations for risk mitigation and design improvements.\nProcess Design Review/Process Safety Workshops\nFacilitate and manage P&ID reviews, HAZOP studies, Process Safety Reviews, Design Safety Reviews, SIL assessments, LOPA studies, and constructability and operational readiness reviews.\nParticipate actively throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.\nPromote process safety culture and HSSEQ awareness.\nCompliance and Quality Assurance\nEnsure compliance with Owner requirements, international HSE standards, and local regulations.\nTrack HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and safety study recommendations through closure and ensure they are incorporated into the design.\nMonitor approved safety recommendation implementation and report progress to Project Management.\nEnsure instrumented safeguards, shutdown philosophies, and safety-critical systems meet the required integrity levels.\nVerify implementation of Owner HSSEQ requirements across EPC Contractors.\nConduct periodic audits of Process Engineering activities and identify improvement opportunities\nQualifications\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical and Industry Experience\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\nA sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nCompetent use of process engineering specific software.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\nSubstantial technical land practical experience in process engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. \nEducation & Qualifications, Accreditation, Training\nA recognized and relevant engineering degree.\nPreferred:\nChartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.\nRelevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
