Has substantial knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables. May provide discipline supervision for one larger or one or more smaller projects.\n\nThe required expertise includes OLGA & DNVGL SPS desirable expertise on PIPESIM, PIPEPHASE, AFT impulse, and Pipeline STUDIO simulators.\n\nFlow assurance studies based on the philosophy of Maximize production and Minimize risk\n\nExperienced on Successful production system design and operations requires a detailed understanding of multiphase flow behavior.\n\nOLGA dynamic multiphase flow simulator models time-dependent behavior or transients’ flow, to maximize production potential\n\nDynamic simulation of deep-water for both onshore and offshore and onshore developments to investigate transient behavior in pipelines and wellbores.\n\nTransient simulation with Olga to steady state analysis by predicting system dynamics such as time-varying changes in flow rates, fluid composition, temperature, solids deposition and operational changes.\n\nFrom wellbore dynamics for any well completion to pipeline systems with all types of process equipment, the OLGA simulator provides an accurate prediction of key operational conditions involving transients’ flow.\n\nKey flow simulation applications as:\nLiquid Handling\n\nSizing Pipelines\n\nSizing Separators and Slug Catchers\n\nManaging Solids\n\nSimulating key operational procedures including start-up, shut-down, and pigging.\n\nModeling for contingency planning.\n\nAssessing environmental risk in complex deep-water environments.\n\nDevelopment of scopes of work in consultation with your client representatives - Facilities Engineers, Project Engineers and Operations personnel.\n\nEquipment sizing and specification, selection and vendor consultation;\n\nParticipation in HAZID & HAZOP studies and review;\n\nProcess modelling using the relevant standard simulation packages HYSYS, ASPEN, METSIM etc. for the respective industrial applications;\n\nPreparation of P&IDs, overseeing the maintenance of datasheets and ensuring process design schedules are consistent with the project plan;\n\nInterfacing with the multi-discipline design Leads to ensure workflows are maintained according to the master schedule.\n\nJob Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems)\nExperience Required\nMore than 12 years of experience in basic engineering and onshore and offshore detailing projects.\nVerifiable experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas platform projects.\nKey technical expertise\nEngineering design for onshore and offshore projects (jacket & topsides).\nDetailed Process design APC for onshore and offshore.\nMexican and international regulations\nExperience in onshore and offshore projects related to any of the following facilities\nTopsides & Facilities\nSubsea pipelines\nOnshore and offshore pipelines\nMarine risers\nSURF\nFloating Systems\nRequired Qualifications\nAcademic requirements\nChemical Engineering Bachelor\nDesirable: Master's degree in Chemical engineering\nAdvanced knowledge of Codes & Standards (industry, Client’s, Mexican, international)\nASME\n· API\n· TEMA\n· NFPA 101\n· IBC\nNOMs /ASEA\n**Competencies\nHigh level of technical precision.\nTechnical leadership and coordination with your work group\nResource planning for program fulfillment\nEngineering budget hour management\nMultidisciplinary coordination skills.\nFocus on quality and compliance with standards.\nAbility to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.\nLanguages\nEnglish Minimum Level B2 (speaking reading, writing and technical communication proficiency).\nSpanish.
