As a global professional services company in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors, Worley is helping bridge the transition to more sustainable energy solutions while continuing to deliver the resources the world depends on today.\nPurpose:\nYou will provide process engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the process engineering team.\nResponsibilities:\nThe overall supervision of the Process discipline work on a project.\nTechnical direction, advice, and control of the Process work.\nLiaison with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction where not provided by codes & standards.\nScope definition, estimation, and progress control of the Process engineering activities.\nPlanning of man hour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements, by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Engineering Manager.\nCo-ordination of Process engineering design and drafting.\nComplete complex process design activities including simulation.\nLiaison with other discipline Lead engineers on technical issues and engineering matters.\nAssisting asset/client Lead Project Engineers in the definition of the Process engineering work in any project, design approach and criteria, procedures for engineering work and timely production of deliverables.\nCo-ordination and preparation of input to Essential Process Documents, as defined by the client/ contract. Where responsibility for updating the Master Documents is handed to the Lead Process Engineer, procedures shall be put in place to maintain document integrity.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\nA sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the process of engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nA sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\nCompetent use of process engineering specific software.\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\nSubstantial technical land practical experience in process engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.\nProven leadership skills.\nExpert knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS or PRO 11.\n8 plus years’ experience.\nOn-site and/or in-refinery experience.\nOil and Gas experience.\nSaudi Aramco experience.\nAdditional Information:\nThis position is in California.\nSalary Range $130,356-$191,703.\nBenefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.\nLos Angeles\nWe will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with Criminal Histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.” #LI-AC1\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree or master’s degree in chemical Engineer or related field or equivalent.\nPreferred:\nExperience in petrochemical and refining with project design, execution, construction.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
